I'm pretty sure Pop will have his team competing well even after Duncan retires....no way they will be bad for an entire decade :lol

Aldridge takes some tough shots man. I like this Blazers team. I'm just worried about what happens when the shots stop falling.

all three of san an's key guys took paycuts to stay, once duncan and pop are gone it will be TP struggling to get his team to 45 wins a season

they made a living for the past 15 years taking advantage of years that lacked truly dominant teams

i just want espn and grantland to stop hyping them up this year as if they're not going to choke in the playoffs like every other year

who else are they gonna hype? the thunder? who hasnt won a chip? the lakers? their dynasty is over? the clips? the w's??? what you expect?
so it's the heat 24/7. spurs earned the right to be in the discussion with the way they played last year

pacers, rockets, clippers, portland all have a better chance of winning a title this year than the spurs do

which isnt really saying much since the spurs have 0 chance of winning the title

they almost did it last year but they are not good enough (and never have been) to win a chip when there's a true dominant team in the nba

they are what the rockets did in the 90s but spread out through out the decade

They beat a Grizzlies team who shouldn't have even been there. Patrick Beverly was the Spurs MVP last yr

I expect Batum and CP3 to hit each other with a punch to the nuts tonight. And Wes Mattews and CP to get in a scruff

they always belong but they never get it done vs good teams

its laughable when people compare the duncan/pop spurs to the kobe/phil lakers when talking about the team of the decade

as a fan, seeing that we got to play the spurs was pretty much like a free pass to the next round

they won 1 between the bulls and lakers dynasties, one of those "well i guess someone has to win" years

one when they beat us after our team was falling apart/breaking down after a 3peat (imo same thing will happen to the heat)

and a couple when the best team in the league was the dantoni suns

we get pau, lakers are good again, tumble weeds in san antonio

they get an easy road to the finals, are up in game 6, some how find a way to give the title away.

yeah they have been a very good team for the past decade but they are no where close to being good enough to be mentioned with all time great teams like shaq/kobe and magic's lakers teams, MJs bulls, birds celtics, ect..

spurs were 20 secs away from having a champagne shower & now theyre not going far with basically the same team :lol :lol theyre the only team in the west that can give miami problems in a series

ugh portland is good so far this year but remind me the last time they actually did anything in the playoffs. they'll fall back to reality eventually and go back to the 1 and done team in the playoffs like always.

clippers having a better chance than the spurs

, unless they can flop there way to the finals.....they'll do nothing.
