The blue in the Thunder's jersey is from the state flag
. Presti, our GM, is from the Spurs umbrella (boring, simplistic) and everything the organization does, especially from a design standpoint, havily leans that way from the slogans, to the commercials, etc. As vanilla and non offensive as possible, sans for the Thunder girls who ironically show probably too much skin and do straight stripper routines at times. All those corny *** playoff shirts they give us are like Thunder is team, team is community, We are team, Thunder is community, We are Thunder, Lets Go Thunder, Team is 18206, etc.
if you hate our jerseys though, you have to also hate the Mavs, Grizzlies, and Bobcats too which are 95% or more the exact same, they even recycling fonts. Adidas and their "templates"
The Oklahoma state flag honors more than 60 groups of Native Americans and their ancestors. The blue field comes from a flag carried by Choctaw soldiers during the civil war. The center shield is the battle shield of an Osage warrior. It is made of buffalo hide and decorated with eagle feathers.

Thats really what it is at the end of the day. OKC and a bunch of other teams deserve better jerseys.
Adidas is horrible at designing NBA jerseys man.

I imagine their design department just has MS Paint, template.jpg like this, a few preffered colors already teed up into the tool bar, and the fill tool, and like 3 fonts. "Need a new jersey for the Bobcats? Hold on one second," Few clicks and done.

I'm not a big fan of any of these jerseys though the Mavs and Grizzlies have slightly more distinctive colors.
I did notice the "We Are Committed" shirts which seemed like a weird motto for a basketball game
