I know where you are going with this, and agree to an extent, however, it wasnt just "Jews". Clean that up.

Used that word cause I figured it was the most relative for situation. Zionist may have been better although I'm not not sure that encapsulates what I'm trying to communicate exactly either and opens another can of worms. I'm open to a better way of expressing it.

At any rate, for those who think this is an issue where a black tape or removing warm ups is gonna solve the issue are completely wrong. These owners care nothing about you, winning a championship or quality of the league. Take a look at the maloof brothers and how they handled the Sacramento situation.

Not standing up for what's right, let's people of this mindset believe they can do what ever they want for the right price.
you cant take the worst owners in the league and use them as an example to say all owners dont care.

There are plenty of good owners in the nba and in all other major sports leagues

I find it FASCINATING that after all this time, we now have the topic that might get Michael Jordan to stand up and be loud. 8o

His first statement was perfect, and honestly, I don't think anyone would expect him to say anything, but this time, he did. He might be the only one too, because the rest of these owners don't want to be biting hands, I am very happy Mike did speak up, and hopefully Silver finds a way to kick Sterling to the curb.

Realistically, not a damn thing will be done outside some pathetic slap on the wrist, unless the players flat out refuse to come to work and Sterling is forced by his own team to step down.

Working at McDonald's is not like being a contender for a NBA championship. Imagine being that close to whatever your lifelong dream is, along with your teammates/brothers. Nobody's lifelong dream is to flip burgers at McDonald's. They're the ones going through this right now, who are we to judge unless we're in their situation?

You're still thinking basketball, which is understandable, but isn't this a little bigger than that? I get the "players playing for themselves" stuff but in actuality that's not the whole story. Clippers success puts money in his pocket, simple as that.

very true hes normally tight lipped as hell

Rather than burning tickets or not going to games everyone should give their tickets to homeless black people

Lol wth?
nothing would annoy the guy more than having his basketball game full of african americans. And on top of that african americans from a totally different social class. Would be great to see a racist rich snob like him have to sit next to a bunch of homeless dudes

Chris Broussard made an interesting point that the other owners don't want to say anything because of their own baggage. If Sterling were to be removed it would set a precedent that they wouldn't want.

Damn just saw this Sterling debacle on CNN
Yeah Adam Silver better act fast before NBA viewership and fan attendance starts declining rapidly

Agreed, however it was well known that sterling was a racist. So for this to go on so many years and no one to have spoken up speaks to the climate of the people he works with. Doing further investigation, on paper sterling shares some common shallow traits with his fellow owners. A rational mind can't help think that if people have a similar background, and are aware of a wrong doing and don't speak up ... They might share the same mindset that allows the wrong doing.

For the record 23/30 NBA teams are owned by Jews. Not gonna discuss the domination of Banking, Media, and entertainment by Jews as a whole. Connect the dots how you see fit.

CP3 will go to the Cavs like he did every time in 2K13
:rollin every f'n time. But on a serious note I wouldn't be mad if all the players get to be free agents. Only if Seattle was ready for a team next year. It might not be "fair" for the fans but if he continues to own the team a lot of players won't want to play for him. And the team will be bad again in no time.

Yeah or that. They should just sit courtside on the bench postpone the gm in LA. When you really protest its gonna make HEADLINES the NBA will be forced to do something IMMEDIATELY...**** all that waiting ****
The fact that the clippers are essentially going "business as usual" is what makes it seem like they don't care.

Again you can't take a stand against McDonald's and still hand out burgers for them

THIS. Its like if your Boss is throwing racial slurs at you whatever color you are and has a history of doing it you gonna sit there and tolerate just because hes cutting your check FOH theres no place in society for that. The players are millionaires they can go elsewhere!
The thing is they cant. The cap alone will cause whatever plans the Clippers have of leaving and being somewhat unified to fail.

What happens to CP3 and Blake? Few contenders have the money to sign them for what they want and they sure as hell dont want to go to bottom of the barelll teams when they were "title contenders" From a monetary and basketball standpoint the best option is to stay with the Clippers.

Maybe Philly can take up a good chunk of the guys but thats about it. Thats if they can somehow get out of their contracts to begin with

Agian taking the whole social commentary issue out of it.

Really what im trying to say is what the Clips did the last gm was a silent protest, Did i want more HELL YEAH. Im actually pissed they showed up to the arena. That would of really put Adam Silver on high alert. This is bigger than the *** playoffs and its unfortunate its happening now because this has been the best playoffs ive seen in like 15yrs from all seeds. Realistically i know they all cant just go to other teams but you gotta think about the other FAs and upcoming draftees with this guy man and overall the reputation the League is getting from all this pub its not looking good man

That's because anybody with a brain is his sources on that one. :lol

The moment Cuban's big *** mouth didn't want to chime in, you KNEW no owners would take a stand cuz they don't want their pasts looked into and have their team ripped from them for some random thing they do/say/did/said.

Mike is the only owner I know of that has spoken out, and I applaud the hell out of him for that.

If sterling is pressured to sell the team wonder if he will take people down with him
I doubt it. He is probably in other business ventures with his racist brothers in arms.

Earlier this morning on Mike and Mike, Charles Barkley made a good point. He was on Mike and Mike and he said something along the lines of although they would like to get rid of Sterling as a owner, he isn't really getting punished, because if he is forced to sell the team and he gets a billion dollars for a team he paid 15 mill for, how is that punishment. I thought about it and just :{

When you mention Blacks n Hispanics in a racial context n has done it repeatedly which is really dominate in the city of LA man your asking for it

players "silent protest" still makes sterling money.
if the players dont play, he doesnt get paid. sure the players forfeit their paycheck but that's a strong message that they will be sending

sterling probably sitting back and enjoying this :{
nba cant really do much. he rather run this team to the ground, than give up ownership

I can think of a team in the same building that has room for CP3 and Blake 8o .

Legally there's not much the owners can do. Denouncing him, fining him, suspending him does nothing.

You can bet on it. The guy fights everything. Ended up in litigation with both Elgin Baylor and Mike Dunleavy and has had tons of lawsuits related to real estate business. And from what I understand, he's also in a lawsuit with the ex-GF who put out the recording, accusing her of stealing money from him. If he gets pressure to sell the team, wouldn't surprise me at all to see him make the situation even uglier than it already is. That just the kind dude he is.
