Let the mods decide if there should be two or just direct all the discussion to General since it's obviously a huge topic that goes beyond sports.


Take the Sterling talk to that thread. The NBA thread isn't going to get derailed by discussion of Jews ruining the world.

This is a real issue and deserves a real and honest discussion. It's certainly apart of the NBA discussion but it's bigger than in-game discussion about games or injuries or things like that. Use this new thread or the one going on in General to talk about Sterling and everything else. This thread has barely hung on this year with the trolls and idiotic and pointless debates over and over again about superstars, about Player A vs B, and so on. It's bad enough veteran posters and regulars feel they can't post in here without fighting through the drivel and the trolls.. this will only make it worse.

We're not ignoring this Sterling issue, but rather making it's own topic for discussion.. so this thread can still be used for basketball discussion.
