The Warriors' Andre Iguodala underwent a year-end physical that showed right knee tendinitis and left hip soreness, but he won't need surgery at this time, according to a team spokesman.
Iguodala's physical included an MRI exam as he played through the knee tendinitis in the playoffs that caused him to miss six games in his first season with the Warriors after signing a four-year, $48 million contract.
Rest during the offseason and a possible injection are in the plans for the 30-year-old Iguodala, who also missed 12 games because of a left hamstring strain that bothered him for months.
Iguodala averaged 9.3 points, scoring under double digits for the first time since his rookie season. His 4.7 rebounds per game were a career low, and his 4.2 assists per game were down from recent years.
Iguodala was a standout on defense, finishing fifth in the NBA defensive player of the year voting.

Doc was NOT ******* around yesterday.Fresh off a stunning collapse that had pushed his Los Angeles Clippers within a game of season's end, still fuming over a controversial replay call he would later lament as potentially "series-defining," coach Doc Rivers marched out of the locker room late Tuesday with fury in his eyes. He headed toward the interview room only to spot Oklahoma City Thunder owner Clay Bennett walking past in the hallway.
"Wow!" Rivers yelled at Bennett. "Why can't we get the right replay?"
Bennett, perhaps still stunned by his unlikely change in fortune, didn't say a word in response and just kept walking.
If I were Phil Jackson, I might make a run at...Patrick Ewing.
