Doggggggg Acie Law was my dude at Texas A&M 
I honestly feel its truly about where you end up drafted and coaching changes. Alot of these guys get drafted into ****** situations, end up being on a team that hires a new coach, new coach wants new players/player doesnt fit his offense/etc.
No doubt guys like Salim, Acie, boone, etc can still be in the league if Tinsley, Toney douglas, and other bums still play
