I can't believe people actually want these dudes back. Interesting look at how POR has modified their PnR defense



Basically telling the big to sag instead of hedging because they want to goad the offense into long jumpers.

Obviously the Issue with hedging is that the ball handler can split the trap & get to the rim.

POR was 26th in defensive efficiency last year, up to 13th this season.

But seriously, if they decided at the end of the season to ignore the conferences for the purposes of playoff seeding and just include the teams with the top 16 records, I'd be totally ok with it.

Id love to see contraction in the NBA. In No way does having teams in Milwaukee, Brooklyn, New Orleans, Memphis, and Toronto make the NBA better.

Has there been much chatter about the Derrick Williams trade?

Always liked Mbah a Moute, but he hasn't progressed like I thought he would. Kind of a bummer to see Williams go. His first real action this season, he looked like the complete and dynamic player the Wolves were hoping to get, but it wasn't sustained at all and the depth of the roster is passing him by. I'll root for him as a person, but it'll be tough if he breaks out in another teams uniform.

should be watching the fan night lakers game right now but NBA TV canada would rather show a raptors weekly recap
