Every team fanbase has its fair share of arrogant "fans". But even if Rose is "set for life and future generations" doesn't mean it's okay to talk trash over a person that has had a serious injury.

Never wish harm on anyone (that hasnt done anything to you lol)

QFMFT

Clippers, Heat, Pacers, are all way more stacked.
ok, 2 years ago the thunder went to the finals when kd & russ were 23 and harden & ibaka were 22.. last year, without harden the thunder won 60 games and were the favorite for a return to the finals until westbrook got hurt in the 2nd game of the 1st round

if the thunder "couldn't win" anything by your standard.. what have the clippers and pacers won?

so let's assume KD, russ and ibaka have all gotten better over the course of the last couple seasons (as stats have shown).. and then you have the same starters from the team that went to the championship and won 60 games last year

then let's factor in that currently, the thunder have 11 players averaging 10 or more mins per game

then we can compare the following: in harden's last year with the thunder he averaged 16.8 points per (in 31.4 mins per).. when kevin martin was with the thunder last year he averaged 14.0 points per (in 27.7 mins per)

WITH: in this young season we have reggie jackson averaging 9.8 points per (in 23.3 mins per) and jeremy lamb seeing his first substantive mins in the NBA in his 2nd season (he played a total of 147 mins last year) averaging 9.1 points per (in 19.4 mins per)

nick collison is still there.. and now so is steven adams, who has actually been able to make somewhat of an impact in his rookie season (hell, he's playing more mins than perkins).. then there is PJ3 to sprinkle in with that (also seeing his first real mins in his 2nd year)

Blazers Players Use Ipads During Games

If you think you've seen the Blazers looking at iPads during games your eyes are not deceiving you. A quick survey of Portland's key players produced some interesting results. Lillard, Matthews, Batum and LaMarcus Aldridge all said that they are using iPads for help during games, but all pursued individual approaches as to what they wanted to see and all had individual habits about when and how they wanted to see the on-demand footage.

Matthews and Aldridge were the biggest advocates of the new technology. Matthews told Blazersedge that he uses the tablets to examine plays on both sides of the ball. On his offensive touches, he's concerned with his shooting form, whether he rushed his shots, and whether there were additional options available to him when the ball swings his way. On defensive plays, Matthews is checking for his stance, his spacing relative to his opponent, and how players are scoring on him.

Aldridge does not look at Portland's defensive possessions, instead reviewing the opposition's defensive coverages when he has the ball in the block or in isolation. Where are the double teams coming from? When do they come? Who are opponents leaving open? What are his passing options? He sounded like a football quarterback or offensive coordinator when describing this instant, in-game "reading the defense" process.

Both players painted the iPad study as a serious competitive advantage.

"It does [help] because you get to see it [again], and in the game everything happens so fast," Matthews, who finished with 17 points (on 6-for-14 shooting) and 6 rebounds, told Blazersedge. "You ask yourself, 'Did I rush it? I felt like I rushed it.' [The video can tell me] when I'm in that same situation off a flare screen, when Nic [Batum] passes over the top, [if] I have more time to get the shot off or [if] I have to shoot it at that speed again. Or, could I have driven it?"

What might once have been a "halftime adjustment" can now take place before a player checks back in during the second quarter.

If it boils down to an OKC/SAS and MIA/IND, I would love to watch OKC/MIA finals again..Durant vs Lebron rematch would be one for the ages

just one thing about that Wall 360 dunk, it was nice to see but did anyone notice, no reaction or cheering from the bench, Nene and the other player on the court gave up running early on in that play. Cherry picking or not that was not good basketball...

They gave up running early? He got the steal off of a teammates careless turnover, stop nitpicking

I wouldn't be mad at an OKC/IND finals. The small market, no luxury tax, "naptown" finals. The media would be so salty.

Lebron can probably play til hes 50. Just move him to center or power forward permanently when he gets old and slow

His dad can teach him how to play a traditionsl center game now that the heat signed him

Yeah. Hopefully, it will go better than when Magic tried to turn himself into a PF. I give Magic credit for trying, but that did not exactly work out.

How is adidas gonna market Rose for next season?

"The Return…Take 2"

Does anyone actually think he'll come back and be in MVP form?

I at least wanna see him play at a high level but I don't see any way he'll get more than 20 a game

when he averaged 15, 7 and 6 at age 36?

Yes. The numbers in isolation look ok, but if you watched the games, he had a lot of problems defensively and his offense wasn't that efficient from that position. Plus, the Lakers weren't winning.
