Some teams don't have the composure to handle a flurry of unfair calls against them, that's the Heat's secret weapon. Rockets fell apart and couldn't deal with that emotionally.

That's why when a team does handle it, like Dallas did, it's extra impressive.

Don't be coy. You know the reality.

...or do you not? Can Heat fans really be that blinded because of their fanship?

Did you for example think the '06 Finals were fairly refereed for both sides?

Of course we get more calls there's 3 superstars on the team superstars = more calls. But did that one tech with Dwight getting called for a delay really give the game away? They were up 6 with 6 left and after a time out they leave ray open for a 3. Then they leave him open for another 3. Then a wide open lay up. Its not like there were calls the refs missed for them when they were fouled or something.

And during the 06 finals who did the mavs have that could attack the rim like wade? Josh Howard? Wade was just attacking non stop.

Why does this ***** Bron have that Jordan leg band on? :|

Refs ruined this game. Wanted to see a good ending and was robbed :{

you should be happy. your team still won.

my Heat, my Rockets.

Definitely some questionable calls late in the 4th.

Oh well :D

The heat lost 5 out of six before this. There were some close games. Why didn't the refs help them then?

1. National TV game against a contending team.

2. Heat are on a losing streak

1+ 2= Obviously Refs can't let them lose 4 in a row.

***** ruined the game

He was a big part of it but the offense at the end was :x:x
Don't know if I should blame Mchale or the players..
Majority of the game the player and ball movement was good then at the end it was a Lin iso for 3 and a Harden Iso for 3 -___-
Heat turned up D but c'mon now that doesn't mean everyone just stays in one spot like they feet in cement

Game was really depressing to watch at the end

Am I?

I'm just so tired of NBA refereeing inconsistency and unfairness.  It's ruining a beautiful game and Stern/Silver couldn't be less interested in dealing with it.  They basically spit in fans' faces by allowing people like Joey Crawford to continue to work after, for example, threatening to fight a player during the game.  After all the things we've seen over the years, they haven't earned the benefit of the doubt.

And I'm not only talking about the Heat.  The idea of superstar calls in general is ridiculous.  If someone who had never watched the game before tried to figure out the rules, they would have no way of determining what is a foul or what is a travel anymore.  It seems totally arbitrary much of the time.

But yes, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and by extension the Heat franchise have benefit more from biased refereeing than probably anybody else in the history of basketball.  Is it the only reason they win?  No, but I didn't say that.  They're talented enough that they don't need all the help.  It's ruining the game.
