That's the playboard., works in conjunction with the playcall signaler (look for the guy making hand gestures).
It gives tempo, motion/ formation, and the playcall through pictures/keywords.
Most of the time the signaler gives the run or pass call. Board has the the actual plays and they're distinguished through groups as mentioned above.
It makes it reflex when you play because you'll go through each play so many times with several tempos.
