Cameback too late good game Stanford. Should of would of could of. I still think that sketch PI on Ekpre-Olomu in the 1st was the game changer. We didnt deserve a Natty trip after that game.

Mariota is THE prototypical QB in 2013...there is nothing he doesn't do well...and...he is getting better every game...he has absolutely every quality in a QB that someone would want at next level

JM
they have a real deal, Top 5 pick at QB right now...Mariota is the reason the Manziel went to Texas A&M...

Oregon vs Bama is what every wants to see...

Very disappointed in this game and the effort of the first three quarters.

Ducks got in their own way too many times. I disagreed with the going for on 4th instead of a field goal; you gotta take points when you can get them. Lots of questionable calls but the physicality of Stanford wasn't illegal. I love Oregon's system and I love their style of play, but they must make adjustments to the way they play if they want to play for it all. The defense, while very fast, could not for the life of them get Stanford off the field. You can't let a good team like Stanford have the ball for 45 minutes in a game and expect to win.

Oregon is a great team, but they won't sniff the title game again if they can't get bigger guys to handle these gritty situations. Last year felt like more of an aberration with some really bone-headed plays, but this year Stanford was in control the entire game sans the last five minutes...This year was a different animal. Stanford began recruiting players to beat Oregon when Jim Harbaugh got there and the mentality remains and is successful. I wonder if Oregon reciprocates. You can have bigger guys and still win in a spread (see A&M, Florida under Meyer). I did wonder for a bit what the play calls might have been like under Chip, but we can play what if all day in this game (turnovers, missed opportunities, etc.). I hope Oregon really learned something tonight that for all their team speed, they couldn't get the other team off the field when it counted.

I tip my hat to Stanford and congratulate them on the win. Obviously my hope is that USC beats them next week so that Oregon can at least get back to the Rose Bowl, but that's even a stretch. If you guys wanna rail me, go for it. You won't have too much ammunition but you're welcome to flame me for supporting my team in every game. I look forward to Oregon's game against Utah on the 16th and hope they can get back to their winning ways.

Hit on Stanford. Styles make fights. That's a bad matchup for Oregon. Shaw out coached Helfrich.

Missed on OU. Showed good fight early. Wasted golden opportunities. I'm confident Baylor will drop one in the remaining four. No easy road.

Good stuff Funk. 100%, good stuff.

My beef tonight isn't so much with the offense (it is in the sense that they can't turn the ball over in the redzone) but more so with the defense. The offense probably gets rolling earlier and at least gives them a chance if the defense could get Stanford off the field, but had absolutely zero success with that. I think they had ONE drive in which they stopped them and that was the first drive.

I don't think UO got outcoached @ all. All about the horses they had on the OL/DL

Oregon was lining up 10 in the box and still getting run on. What more could they have done on offense?
