Never seen a fanbase so obsessed with a player that isn't an elite talent like Miami fans are obsessed with Eddie Johnson.

Obsessed? He hasn't even been mentioned since he got kicked off the team.
Da'Shawn Hand to Bama
..at least Saban gonna leave Bama with a full roster before he heads to Texas..
Idk why. I guess mostly because of how atrocious our defense has been the past 2 games. Pretty much the only reason I can think of. He could hit hard but he was always out of position and was terrible in pass coverage.
Guess we don't read the same boards. His name always comes up.Obsessed? He hasn't even been mentioned since he got kicked off the team.

Northern Illinois’ mascot, Diesel, is one of the best mascots in the nation and deserves to be a household name. During the No. 21 Huskies’ game against Ball State Wednesday night, he proved why. Diesel busted out what is possibly the greatest touchdown celebration of all time, high-fiving a human and melting hearts nationwide.
Mike Leach once called the Big 12 commissioner during a game to gripe about officiating
What’s one way to display your displeasure with shoddy officiating? For former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach, it was easy as picking up the phone and calling then-Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe.
Oh, one thing: Leach made the call – on his cell phone – from the sidelines during the third quarter of the Red Raiders’ 59-43 loss to Texas in 2007. As anyone who has attended a game can attest, it’s pretty amazing that Leach’s phone was able to make outgoing calls.
The story was relayed by ex-Tech quarterback Graham Harrell, who spoke with Aaron Dickens of RedRaiderSports.com about Leach’s decision to reach out and touch someone:
As Football Scoop notes, Leach called the officiating “a complete travesty” during his postgame press conference. For that – and, one might think, for the call from the sidelines – he was fined $10,000, then the largest fine in league history.“I can remember in the third quarter, he’s pulling his cell phone out. He always talked to me between series, so he’s talking to me and he pulls his cell phone out and he called the Big 12 commissioner. He’s like cussing out the Big 12 commissioner, telling him like, ‘These refs are screwing us. You better watch my post-game press conference because I’ve got some stuff to say.’”
I haven't heard a lot about Matthew Thomas this year. Is he injuries or something I thought he was suppose to come and contribute right away.
Out for the season
