I wonder when they will start giving the rap Grammy's to the right people again and legitimize it. Never will forget the year that Ludacris won simply because of Runaway Loves message even though that song and album was complete trash. As obvious as the winners should be this year, somehow some way it will be screwed up.

naw bruh.. Release Therapy was flames... agree with the point about the grammys credibility tho.. nothing but a popular contest these days...

Take Care wins the rap album of the year :smokin :smokin

Might actually watch it this year. More people that I do like than ones I don't

Life is good definitely has to win the rap album of the year. PERIOD. no rap album is better than life is good

You telling me "all I want for my birthday is a big booty hoee" is Grammy worthy lol. I mess with 2chainz but come on. Albums with lines like" titty f****, chestnut" shouldn't be consider

Wouldn't say that album was trash, but it's definitely one of his lesser albums outside of a handful of songs. I guess if I had to rank them myself, it would look something like:

Word of Mouf >> Back For The First Time >> Chicken N Beer = Theater of The Mind >> Release Therapy >> Red Light District.

Battle of The Sexes is just like Common's Universal Mind Control - it doesn't exist to me

^Yo I cant believe you think Chicken N Beer was equivalent to theater of the mind. TOTM was actually a great album. Release Therapy was even better. Chicken N beer was overrated man, but it sure as hell was better than red light district.

I wish Luda still made music like release therapy or theater of the mind at least...but he's gone straight pop now :smh:

I have them equal cause Theater of the Mind was [mostly] a serious album with a lot of good songs, and Chicken N Beer was a more fun album but still had a lot of good songs. I liked Theater of the Mind more, but looking back a case could be made for either way. Definitely wish Luda would get back on his game, but that seems to be long gone, so I'll just stick with his old stuff.

I wondering, shouldnt Channel Orange be considered an R&B album? I know they probably dont want to give 1 artist too many
nominations, but still

and sigh, no Camp. But thats ok, I still mess with childish gambino
