2013 NFL Draft thread - ( Early Entrees, Mocks, Combine etc )

Chiefs should just go best available. Not any of these QB's are can't miss prospects so they're better served grabbing the best talent in the early rounds and see what you can find or who is avaiable in the later rounds.

May not be a bad idea to bring a QB via free agency. Find someone who is competent enough to keep the team competitive. I would not rush in trying to get a franchise Q. That leads to what the Vikings did. Drafting Ponder as high as they did or what the Cardinals did in trading for Kolb.

Either way, if whatever they do fails in 1st two years, Pioli will be Done.

If Im KC, I gotta go QB. whether I trade back 5 - 10 spots n order to get it.

They cant go another year without a new leader under center.

Your bruh ain't no star
He's approaching his third consecutive 1,000 yard receiving season. He's only been in the league for five years, and his first full season was in 2010, meaning he's got at least 1,000 yards in every season he's started sixteen games in. And, need I point out what team he's on?

We've got the Buffalo Stampede for the ground game and a high potential defense, so if star wideout were to join Stevie & Chandler...oh, the possibilities.

confirmed for not watching a single bills game

bills have a bad QB if he ins't throwing an INT he's over throwing.

Is it even a guarantee Pioli will be back next season to make the decision on where the Chiefs should draft?

I wonder how many teams double down and take TWO QB's like the Skins just did. And they did that with fewer picks cuz of the trade for RG.

chiefs need front office change , they can go after andy reid and try to snag a free agent quarterback like alex smith or trade for flynn.

pair him up with mike wallace and maybe trade down and stockpile as much talent as possible.

i think geno smith could be great but i think he's gonna have to sit a year under someone that can instill the right leadership skills, film room work ethic and

pocket presence. which i dont think the chiefs personnel has.

Stevie Johnson could have Tom Brady & Aaron Rodgers @ QB & he wouldn't be a top 10 WR.

There are questions about these traits in relation to Geno?

Actually I watch a lot of Bills games and all NFL games

He's not top ten so you'd take him over

Megatron
Fitz
A Johnson
Reggie Wayne
Dez Bryant
Greg Jennings
Julio Jones
AJ Green
Roddy White
Brandon Marshall
V Cruz
Randall Cobb
Steve Smith
Vincent Jackson

Ill wait

im the biggest geno supporter on here , i know his intangibles are through the roof , ive  just personally

always been a fan of 2 training camps and 2 pre seasons before a regular season debut kinda guy ,

along with building around a quarterback which takes more than a couple months....factor in the fact that

the mountaineers schedule isnt exactly the kind of schedule you'd like a quarterback to face before adopting

the worse team in the NFL.

the receivers in red all have better quarterbacks than stevie

So you'd take Steve over all of them then?
i won't make any outlandish comments , but i think stevie has an outstanding toolset

and i wouldnt put it past him to be a consensus top 10 receiver with a pro bowl caliber quarterback.

similiar to what we saw with wes welkers and the dolphins/patriots.

fair enough

anyway watching the bowl game tonight; look out for Derek Carr next year to move up draft boards

he could be a productive NFL QB; I still think David could have been good too if the Texans didn't ruin him

That's not a direct measure though, man. I mean...Calvin was beasting with guys like Shaun Hill, Kitna and Orlovsky. Not all as inept as the Cardinal trio (Orlovsky is), but it's fairly easy to spot a great skillset and a dominate player despite.

It could be a lot worse than Fitzpatrick anyway. I don't think somone like Larry or Calvin would have problems dominating if they were in Buffalo. Stevie is second tier, at best. Probably nothing more than a #2 complimentary guy.

Some NTers don't understand football

I mean in this thread alone we had someone say Aaron Rodgers brother will be better than him in the NFL

What? :lol

Not sure if serious.

Yikes...

I watched a lot of Jordan this year because of his brother... And, um... No.
Just go back two-three pages...My mind was blown...Anyways...can we talk for a second about the Lions...I mean I get it, we lost close games we were winning last year, but was last year a fluke year or was this year? I mean I THOUGHT we was FINALLY on the uprising...and then this...We're as talented as a team can be on offense...but is our secondary really bad enough for us to be 4-11 right now? Not to mention Linehan has got to go...I honestly feel like Stafford is a top 10-15 QB...orrrrr maybe I'm just a homer...I am completely jealous of the Rams off season last year...I was convinced the Lions were signing Cortland Finnegan to come back and play for Schwartz and we were going to draft Janoris Jenkins...Both are better then anything we have in our secondary...Then again what do I know, I drank the Kool-Aid and believed we was a 10 to 12 win team this year...F it, it's Christmas eve...Merry Christmas to everyone..Let's drink some Christmas Ales.

#truth. Stevie Johnson is not a top 10 wideout...yet.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind if the Bills traded down for Te'o this year. I like the bruh, and believe he'd bring some well needed leadership to the ONLY team in the NY.
