2013 NY JETS OFF-SEASON THREAD 8-8 ..12 Picks ...

The one play that bothered me was the red zone pick...Ivory was getting 4+ yards a carry but no we decide we wanna throw...smh
Still running the Schottenheimer offense, do the opposite of common sense

j/k. We still got so many holes man. They should trade Santonio now to get SOMETHING for him. He doesn't want to be here.

Geno costed the Jets the game, but he needs help out there. Hope he continues to progress as the season goes on

we should collectively as pats and jets fans apologize to the rest of the S&T forum for that game. worst game i've ever seen, from both teams. and as good as both defenses looked, i think we can both agree our offenses both blew ***.

"good" game y'all

I spit on my hand for that one :hat

Sox yanks this weekend. U guys better treat Mo right ...

And let us sweep ...

maybe we'll give you a game...maybe 2. but if Mo is in...you know we looking to add to the Blown Save column :hat

Geno assisted in the loss. How many drops from the wideouts??? They did not help the kid. Out of the three picks, one was a bad route by gates where he could of held the DB from Jumping the route. Catchable ball. The other two were bad but rookie picks

This game could of been much better if there was catches. Pinning this loss on Geno entirely is ridiculous.

what happened to him?

Strained left oblique on the first at-bat of the game on a check swing.

We managed to win tonight, but losing Gardner is huge. Dude has been a XBH machine last month or so.

I dont think I ever seen the lack of the amount of skill at the skilled positions than I seen last night. On both teams, but more so than the Jets. This is 2 years already the front office hasnt signed any talent.

Word, lets stay away from drafting from a school that currently has more players on NFL rosters than any other university, sounds smart.

We should give Cribbs a look, forgot he is a FA. Even if it's for a KR/PR. Better than having Casper out there like last night :{ .

What was the last USC WR that did anything? Besides keyshawn. They tend to have all the "talent" at the skill positions (offense) and they suck when they get to the league. Recently besides Carson Palmer, name a QB too.

Thanks.

mac - They were going for the block. Yes, Kyle Wilson has always been awful (You could say the best Punt returns of the night were those plays.) But with Kerley out, I could see why one would want another option.

The first time Rex was upset was not due to no one being back there (Which is why those announcers were horrible) he was mad that someone missed lining up on the line to allow them to rattle the punter. I think Kyle lined up in the middle. The were trying to block all night.

How's LenDale White working out?

But seriously this.

When's the last time the Jets had an explosive, game changing WR? Obviously the front office sees something in these WR's that we don't.

You can't expect a rookie QB to win games when his best option is Kerley.

If they didn't see this problem with Sanchez what makes you think they'll see it with Geno?

That's my point. If the Jets really want to win games they need to give Geno better options than Kerley, Holmes, and Kellen Wislow
