Rockets pick at 21 right now.

Our pick at 4. :hat

I pray we buy out Boozer, trade Hill/Lin/Ellington.

And as has been mentioned before, if we get say #20 from the Houston pick, we could package that with our second rounder and move up 4-5 slots. A nice 4-15 combo to go with Randle/Clarkson/Kelly. :smokin

Kelly looks slow right now tho, real bad. He needs to stay healthy and get 3-4 weeks straight of game action.

Ronnie Price my n***a I hate it had to be him. I wanted some free wings ,so close. Lillard was unstoppable

Standings show were at number 5. We have one more win than Detroit.

I thought boozer couldn't be bought out? May be wrong iono.

IF someone offers us a first rounder for Davis I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Get all these draft picks and package them for Durant when he says he wants out, which is inevitable considering they have dion waiters

Boozer can't be traded, but he can be bought out.

5, my bad, forgot we won last night. Still, Detroit is ballin, in the East, we will get past them soon into 4th.

And yes, the Knicks are doing what we should do. Hopefully we will in a few weeks.

Lottery protected. 1-14, they keep.

15-30, ours. Currently at 21, lower the better. Josh Smith doing God's work for us right now. :smokin

"Trades don't happen til February".

K.

Knew you would say something...

Notice was a single big traded to Cavs or the Thunder...

One cannot predict the stupidity of the Cavs trading Waiters for JR Smith & Iman Shumpert.

Cavs might as well trade for JJ Hickson and hold on to him like he's James Worthy

I'm worried we're not going to do anything by the deadline. Just seems like we can't catch a break.

Hill is flourishing amongst mediocrity and he's getting a bunch of touches, but I don't feel like he's going to have the same results and opportunites elsewhere. I don't see anyone taking Lin either. I'm seeing our best opportunity for something is by packaging them together. I don't see packaging either one of them with Houston's pick as enough.

If Mitch over values our players, then you can bet your *** we don't trade and stand pat. See Pau.

I hope we just clear house. Let the tank ensue.

Yeah, I'd package Lin & Hill and that'll have us worse off but I highly doubt it'll happen.

Who wants a big name? I want to deal Lin, or Ed, or Sacre, in 9 days Hill, no big names here.

Rondo was dealt last month.

Corey Brewer right after.

Deals can happen any time. And since we clearly aren't making a playoff run, we should be playing the young guys, and flipping vets with no future with us. Zero point letting Boozer, Price, Wes, Young fight their *** off to screw with our future. You know it, I know it, we need Jim/Mitch to know it.

Hopefully, soon.

(Ironically, Mitch tried to pull Waiters. I find that interesting). Shows he's at least kickin tires. I like that. Wonder who he offered tho.

Ha, you meant actual, big didn't you? :lol Thought you typo'd big "name".

Big, wing, guard, don't matter. Deals are deals. We can join the party.

other team has ball with 24 seconds left, waits 10 seconds and doesnt foul

has ball in hands down 3 with 19 seconds left, shoots within 3 seconds of getting the ball

he clearly didnt take Clock Management 110 at Harvard

Couple of things:

1. 3 teams are undoubtedly worse than us (Philly, Boston, Knicks). Just have to stay in 4th. The likelihood that 1 team jumps from 5th or better to Top 3 is good, but two teams 5th or better getting to the Top 3 is a VERY VERY VERY LONGSHOT. So with Minny, that would put us 5th. Yes, we are ahead of Boston now, but they will only get worse.

2. I think Reggie Jackson is now up for grabs, and may even end up costing less. Could be a target.

Why?

Simple Mathmatics. Reggie is a RFA in 2015.
Durant is a FA in 2016.
Ibaka & Westbrook FA in 2017.

Westbrook & Durant will be maxed out. Probably $25mil each. Then Ibaka is going to command over $15mil - under $20mil. That's $70mil right there.

Reggie Jackson RFA is going to cost the Thunder $12 - 13mil if they truly want to keep Reggie Jackson.

Butttttt now you add in Dion Waiters, who is a RFA in 2016... Then Steven Adams RFA in 2017. That's going to add a lot of money.

If the Thunder don't trade Waiters in a move before the deadline, they may have to just let Reggie Jackson go based on pure math.

And then watch KD go in 2016.

Again goes to the point that Presti really screwed up by not amnestying Perkins before 2012-13, and tried to get another couple years of Russ/Harden/KD/Ibaka before tax would force him to deal Harden. Worst move since 2000 (unfortunately Steve Nash trade is like # 2 )

3. P, that Rockets next 5 is easy, but it probably only leap frogs them over 2 teams assuming they win all 5. 6 teams have 25 wins, I'm willing to bet at least 5 of the 6 teams will win at least 3 of the next 5.

4. CP, we're still on the same wavelength of trading Hill, Lin. Not sure you get many offers for Lin. Probably just a playoff team looking for a guard, but that salary is tough unless we take 1 contract that goes through 2016 (if that contract is $3mil or less, I'm fine with taking it for Lin).
Sacre doesn't need to be traded. Doesn't help the tank either way, and he likely only fetches a 2nd round pick, and the likelihood of a 2nd round pick being as good as he is, even as a 5th big makes it an unnecessary trade.
Tarik Black is tradeable, but again if it's only a 2nd, he doesn't help the tank either way, should keep him.
Price, Ellington won't get any calls, but if someone does, fine have him. Not even sure Mitch actively shopping them would be able to get rid of either guy.
Randle, Kelly, Swaggy P, Clarkson I wouldn't trade. Kobe is a given.

Wes Johnson who I actually am beginning to like could be a decent trade chip. I do like the idea of bringing him back in 2015-16, but off the bench (at around current money). I think he could do good work if he became a bench player. BUT if there's a deal for him, gotta take it.

Ed Davis - Here's where we have contention. He's easier to trade than Hill because of the money. But you have to really make it worth it to trade him. I wouldn't simply salary dump him for a 2nd. Not worth it. Also if we traded Hill, a depth chart of Boozer/Davis..... Kelly / Sacre is not good, very tank worthy.

I definitely see Jackson on the trade block. Don't think the Lakers have enough to trade for him though, but maybe/probably free agency.

Too bad the Cavs traded Bogans so early. Could have coupled his contract with Haywood's (both non-guaranteed) plus a first rounder for Hill. But alas.

Edit:

Compare the Lakers vs Jazz schedule the next four games. Man.
