It's a similar situation if you think about it that New Orleans had with CP3, Bulls would offer more assets to compete now and still be relevant (Taj, Jimmy/Snell, McBuckets and the Kings 1st round pick for next year) vs. the younger prospects in Wiggins, Bennett, Waiters, and whatever draft picks they decide to throw in. MIN would have a decent core, yet still be bad enough to possibly get rewarded with another top 5 pick next summer like NO was gifted by $tern.

Bulls would be stupid to cut their depth for Love especially since their need isn't in the front court anyway. They're pretty stacked there.

If there is a need, they need a pure scorer type, and Love is not it.

That's funny to me personally because he is one of maybe three guys in this entire draft that I would feel safe about drafting.

Yeah I love Wesley Johnson. He has a really high IQ and love for the game. You know he'll work hard and he's great with fans too. He should fill in perfectly for the T-Wolves if the Nets don't take him. 

Regarding Boogie

I don't mean his workout reports were bad... I just mean that Im under the impression he isn't your "prototypical" PF. From reports on his workouts, some believe he isn't  going to be suited for the PF position... Then you move him to center? His lack of explosiveness & weight could end up being an issue there. Im just not sold on him being a big addition to an NBA team.

Well in pretty much every trade unless you're the Lakers you're going to have to gut your team to trade for a star. It's going to be no different with Love whether it's to MIN, GS, CHI or wherever he Flip decides to trade him to. They can always let him just walk and do a hard set rebuild, but seeing as Flip has reiterated that he doesn't want to go that route, I'd be surprised if he's in MIN past the Feb. trade deadline.
