and I respect u for that. I used to hate on Kobe hard (no more feelings though, just respect for him), but still acknowledged that he was a top-tier basketball player.

That Mavs frontcourt is extra thin. They need more bodies there, like 1 or 2. Then we got ourselves a legit contender.
They need to get someone like Quincy Acy or Tyler Handsbro. Just bodies that can give them 15-20 min if needed.

We did it in 2011 with Dirk, Tyson, and Haywood. Hoping Wright and Greg Smith can relieve Dirk and Tyson enough this year. I wish Wright would bulk up a little. It might do him wonders.
Regardless, this is the most talented the Mavs have been in ages.

Last year we had Blair, Marion, and Dalembert. This year we got Greg Smith, Tyson, and Aminu to soak up some front court minutes. Dirk won't go above 32 like last year.
Might even see some Parsons at the four.

Their front office doesn't do a great deal of thinking these days. So hit or miss.

Maybe they don't trade for Asik if they already have Noel, but everything else could have still reasonably went that way.
