There's no way their making the playoffs they just their two best perimeter defenders and shot creators.
They lost 2/3 of their best offensive players and they already had a bad offense.
The only person that can give you close to 20 a night is David West and he relies on both those guys to get him the ball.

Hill, Watson, Stuckey and CJ Miles are now the primary ball handlers and perimeter defenders.

Bruh they were gonna be in that seed range even with PG. Pacers probably won't even make the playoffs. No Lance to do the dirty work/hustle plays, Hibbert is trash, David West getting older and they don't have a real point guard to distribute the ball.

youre not thinking. those rafters the hoop is hanging from are maybe 40ft high.  40.... an arena has GOTTA be at least 200ft high. you wanna talk about engineering? How many times have you EVER seen a 150+ foot pole hanging from a ceiling? dont you know those bars in this picture you posted are steel? more engineering, the longer a single piece is...the more chances it has of failure. the more connections a piece has, the more chances it has of failure. how many connections would it take to make a 150+ foot steel beam and then to hang it from the rafters? how many people attending the game can see THROUGH that steel beam? exactly who is gonna take a crane and check all 150+ feet of those steel beams before and after every game?... oh. assuming failure is possible, who prefers the 150+ foot STEEL beam to fall from the 150+ foot high ceiling onto the court or into the stands... OR the small portable basketball hoop on the ground? hmmmmmm

Bruh... Inconvenient doesnt mean not thesible. The reason the hoops are the way they r now is portability and cost plain n simple. These arenas are used for all types of things. Plz stop trying to convince me hanging baskets are an engineering feat. Itd be rather simple and 100℅ safe

Btw my boy who played in the Czech for 6 seasons said suspended hoops are the norm many places he played there and Germany. Cant do it here tho. Collapsible beams are too high tech for american engineers hah
