Or when you hear they may be doing layoffs, because business is down, and they choose to keep you, tell them no, they need to let you go too, that way you can make room for someone who needs the money more.
Tell them you want to help the company get back on it's feet, so you need to be laid off too, so they can fit their next quarterly goal in.

. Cancelling my NBA LP and going over to BS from now on. For one, it's only $89 for a full year and you can cancel during the off season and re-up your subscription when it starts back up 
. Games are immediately archived and have a greater frame rate than NBA LP. Only downside I've come across so far is that you have to download games before watching, I believe, and the stream to media device e.g. xbox 360 isn't seamless and requires a few steps to set it up.
