I find it hilarious that people have fabricated this and ran with it. Harden being hated has nothing to do with Dwight. Dwight doesn't force Harden to flop, not play defense, or often times going iso for 20 of the 24 second shot clock. People loved Harden in OKC cause they were only seeing his game 28min or whatever off the bench, instead of 44+ minutes a night. Stop fooling yourselves.
It's cause the original is always looked more in a positive light than the sequel.

The original? I mean if we are talking original T-Mac started it, Kevin Martin perfected it, Durant and Harden started doing it at the same tie.

The ISO stuff has much more to do with Mchale and Morey than Harden.

Oh nah, just meant from those two. I'd say from that team Harden definitely got that from KD. I never really noticed T-Mac doing it, but Kevin Martin doing it was terribly annoying even though he was playing for the Rockets

You have no idea who got it from who, thats his game, he pretty much came out of the womb with a euro step and rip through.

Harden's been drawing fouls at insane rates since ASU.

The hatred seems irrational.

Harden runs into the defender while doing the rip through during a 3 on 2 fast break during an international friendly game. :lol :{ That's not what Tmac,Kobe, KD etc did...it was usually on a face up and not 90% of their possessions

There were 2 or 3 instances of Harden missing an open man on the break to draw a foul.

Seriously who did he get involved during the game tonight? Hustle plays?

KD does the same rip move as Harden, but doesn't get the hate. I don't get it.
But KD also puts the ball in the basket. He can give you field goals in phenomenal fashion, he doesn't need the whistle all the time. Harden needs the whistle and isn't often trying to make the shots, KD atleast tries to make the shots or is atleast a threat to make it.

game was pretty good. sloppy, but strong outings from AD. Kid is special. Great to see D.Rose out there. I'm litterally shook every single step he takes. I can't wait until these feels go away. Dude is so fun to watch. There's def some guys that can be cut though.

Harden is one of my favorite players in the league but at times he actually wastes possessions trying to get the foul instead of trying to get the bucket. A guy like him could score on some of those drives and would probably still get the foul instead of automatically going to the rip through.

Refs have to take fault as well for constantly rewarding those type of things, players are going to exploit things that are rewarded.

A lot of people hit it on the head with James Harden. I personally don't have a problem with the way he plays but he'd probably be one of my favorite players if he didn't look for the foul all the time. I see from him a lot missing a lot of make - able baskets by a mile in his quest to get the foul call. He can probably have a lot more And 1s if he wasn't too busy looking to sell the foul all the time.

When harden walks on to the court, he is looking for calls not to put the ball in. I don't generally get the same feeling with KD. Even though I have complained about the swing move numerous times. While I think lebron has made a career out of blindly barreling into the paint, I don't think he is generally only looking for the call. He's trying to put the ball in.

Wade does that same annoying ****. When he doesn't try to score he tries t get a whistle. It's not pleasing to watch.

Harden is ISO leading to free throws, open threes and no defense.

Now does that mean he can't be effective in the current NBA? No. Can he help a team? Sure.

Just don't ask people to enjoy watching him play.

Hate? Not sure what you're reading. I dont hate Harden at all. I'm clearly giving you reasons other people hate him from his own doing. "The hate seems irrational" :lol :lol that's cute

I enjoy watching Harden play, sometimes he goes to far looking for fouls but he's still a wizard with the ball in his hands.

If he gets you at the top of the key in ISO might as well wrap it up because its lunchtime.

He's got a couple crossovers, step back, euro step ridiculous, splits pic and rolls too easy :{....offensively he's just filthy

Harden a top 5 offensive player in the league

Kobe can pumpfake 5x trying to draw a foul & its cool tho

Yall the same dudes that was complaining that the east playoffs were "boring" :{

Can yall just appreciate the mans game for what it is

Mad at the man for making a living at the free throw line, when you got players scared to even take it to the basket

This *****rdly harden can at least attempt to make the basket. Dude just wants to get to the line and when theirs no whistle the ball smacks the top of the glass and the opposing team breaks. This team is very beatable they need a bring/ls/cp3/rw

Disgrace to the game of basketball?

I don't get it.

He isn't the first supremely gifted offensive player to not play defense.

He simply refuses to pass the basketball. He looks to flop into defenders, which is smart on his part. Kevin Durant is an artist with the ball, even if he draws a high rate of fouls, he doesn't do it in the manner that Harden does.

Btw, this has been building with Harden. When he first got to Houston, his game was extremely enjoyable to watch. He was unselfish but turned it on when he wanted to score. The past two years in Houston he's completely changed his approach on offense. Black hole, ISO, flopping into defenders. Yeah, he's a disgrace to the game of basketball.

Nobody is debating anything , people are just expressing dislike for his style of play which they're allowed to do.

Haven't seen anyone post he's a bum or doesn't belong there...( in my defense my block list is long so I may have missed some nonsense )

I'm just explaining what I like about his game and others are doing the opposite , no big deal.
