Midrange yes 3pt hell no but you're right about the tony Allen thing to a degree but I feel like that was half kd fault and half coaching because most of the problem was getting the ball to him once he got it Tony Allen couldn't really do much to stop him

No it's the coaches fault that he hoped KD could just jog up court and be guaranteed a touch then let everybody stand still for 8 seconds before even trying to run a set. And if you paid attention anytime KD posted up they sandwiched him with one guy fronting him and another rotating behind him or vice versa

They would both be worse if they switched jordan because his jumper was bad for most of his career then became average. KD because of the physicality. But here's why this is a stupid argument. If jordan was coming up in the last decade he would probably tailor more of his offensive game to the jumper and KD would probably spend less time in his J and more on building himself up physically. Maybe that makes kd blow out his knee? Maybe it messes up his shooting mechanics? Maybe jordan can't develop that jumper to anything more than average ? Maybe he spends too much time developing that J and doesn't become the type of defender he was? Maybe his teammates air out his A-hole side in the media/social media and his mentality is different?
Far too many what ifs too have anything resembling a coherent discussion

I don't want to get too hyped up but Jonas Valanciunas might make the leap, his post up game and footwork are so good now, looks like a double team threat now.
