2014 NFL Draft Thread

^, repped

I've really really been thinking about the Lions draft.

In this draft with the depth at wide receiver in the first two rounds I'd lose my damn mind if they traded up for Sammy Watkins.

Everyone keeps trying to come up with the formula to win a Super Bowl.

To me what the Seahawks taught us is get as many good players as possible, be as deep as possible.

You can't give up picks in this draft, not for anybody.

If Donald were 6'4 300+lbs, he'd go before Clowney. but, If "if" was a fifth...

He's going end up in the top 10.. Giants (12), bears (14) and cowboys (16) are going be clawing over one another to get up for him

I'd have no problems with the Lions taking him.

I know ANOTHER 1st on a d-lineman?!?!?!

Suh and Fairley are in the last years of their deals and I don't know if I'm trying to pay Fairley long term money anyways.

Dude was a contract ***** in college and I'd bet money he balls out this year and expects big money.

That new CBA did wonders for the NFL because now it's such a chess match.

No one wants to give up picks because of the amount of cheap talent you can hit.

now NE actually makes its high round picks :lol

ICMYI- Sources tell http://WalterFootball.com  the Bucs would take Blake Bortles at 7 and won't trade up in the first. http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftrumormill.php …

The more mocks and reports I see I realize the 7th pick is the worst one this year. I saw one mock where we took OBJ and another one with Lewan. At this point take Ill be happy with Ebron if Watkins and Evans are gone

Russell Wilson - Beast in college, falls to the third round.
Tom Savage - Average as **** in college, invited to the green room.

I don't get it. Oh, yeah, he's tall and has QB traits.

F outta here.

Next we'll be hearing Teddy Bridgewater is disinvited from the Green Room, since he didn't throw passes against nobody well enough.

QB Pro Days becoming the NFL equivalent of taking a chair 1v1 in NBA workouts.

teams clearly have told the NFL that he could go high

it's not like he won some contest for peeling the label off Miller Lite :lol

Realistically he could pull it off with a one 3-
Piece joint.

Jacket and vest
Then just vest with no jacket
Then jacket with no vest
Then just shirt with no jacket or vest
So just remove one item of clothing every day?

Word. At some point we gotta ditch the measurables and draft guys who can just play.

Half these coaches are self proclaimed offensive gurus right? Make it work.

This comment:
"It’s guys like this who end up having careers like Montana and Brady. Under the radar while in college. Not making a big splash. 3rd round or later success story."

Wouldn't being invited to the green room and drafted in the first round defeat the Montana/Brady comparison?

There's just so much wrong with that sentence.

It hurts my brain.
