2014 NFL Draft Thread

Mamba's a fast guy but nothing else. No wiggle no shake no routes.

Probably a top return specialist and hopefully he's a hard worker and wants to get better at running routes inside

In that vid I saw a couple little shakes in there. Not Shady or anything, but like you said, hopefully he works.

It's always bothered me Hester could never find a true offensive spot where he could dominate, hope it doesn't happen to Mamba too. Want him to be more than just a returner.

So CP is Mel Kiper, or Jaws.

?

Probably closer to Matt Millen. :lol

I'm faaaaaaaaaaar from Kiper. I love the draft, don't mean I'm good at it or anything. Just another dude with a notebook and a pencil.

look at this dude trying to be all humble and **** :lol

seriously though....don't act like kiper is that much better than millen...your predictions are probably as good as his :lol

what film is shaun king watching? hundley only looks bad when he doesn't set his feet and has lazy foot work at time. stuff that can be corrected easy

what makes you think Thomas could work at TE? just cause of height and weight?

and with Mike evans, big slow WR that cant run routes well don't work long term in the NFL

U think Thomas is gonna cut it at QB? For a guy his size, he's extremely athletic. His career in the nfl will probably be at a different position.

Logan Thomas ******g blows. He should start converting to tight end right now.

Logan Thomas, IMO, will have to switch positions if he wants to have an NFL career. He could do some things at TE.
I like two Evans' at WR
1. Mike
2. Shaquelle

Mike is an interesting case - he reminds me of V-Jax. However, I'm quite sure we'll hear comparisons to BMW tho.

he's not as slow as people seem to think.

Mel Kiper = CP
Jaws = 651
Bill Simmons = DSA

does that make chester...Dan Lebatard's dad?

As it was pointed out, Thomas was a WR/TE coming out of HS.

I don't think the transition will be as hard as people think. Dude is 6'6" 260 and can move well.

Any film on Jordan Matthews from Vanderbilt? I liked what I saw of him week 1, haven't heard much since.

I'll find something next time I'm on PC and post it. I like that kid too.

One of my biggest mistakes ever, I thought two years ago that Logan Thomas would improve and become top 3 pick worthy. I've shamed my family name. :{

HELL NAW!!!

I have talked **** about him at QB for 3 years now, I know he will never work as a NFL QB. but my thing is QB's moving to a different position in the NFL don't really do all that much

im pretty sure Thomas is banking on what TP2 is doing and will ask to play QB in the NFL tho.

Why would he? He's actually came in at the position people are calling for him to switch to, unlike anyone else.

What about david fales?

Only college football I really watch is the big games.. And even that is sporadic

^ why do you think he will be better than the guys you named?

I don't remember him being rated higher than those guys early in the process.. Well he was rated over Johnson

His ball definitely has a bit more zip this year. I wanna see him use better footwork under duress though, he tends to throw off-balance.

“@MichaelDavSmith: Rams have their own first-round pick and Washington's first round pick next year. That could be two in the Top 10.”
