I don't see where you guys think he tweaked his ankle or knee or it bent back etc.
It looks like he went up awkwardly to avoid enough contact to get his shot off, and still get the foul and Lauvergne just knocked him out of the air and straight on his back.
That's what it looked like to me.

i seen that as well.. but that was his right knee.. it was the left that was injured
