Somewhat of a cool story, I got to see Shaq speak yesterday and someone asked him what was his favourite play he ever made. He said it was the Kobe Blazer alley oop play but I didn't know that the whole finger pointing thing afterwards was towards his kids who were sitting in the rafters.

Or, the potential Tracy McGrady for Scottie Pippen draft-day trade that was nixed by Michael Jordan himself at the 11th hour after the Bulls snuck McGrady through the back door of a hospital for a physical days before the 1997 NBA Draft. (“Jordan called [Jerry Krause] up and said that if he drafted Tracy, he was going to retire.”)

I just finished the McGrady chapter. He went to ABCD camp the summer before his senior year unranked and shot up to being the #1 prospect in the country.

Towards the end of the camp, he did a windmill dunk on a guy named James Felton. Felton had behavioral problems already, but he went on and drank himself to death years later.

That demoralizing dunk can be found here in the first 5 seconds....

Amir Johnson was the last high schooler to be drafted. Good trivia

Good read.

I don't even think the dunk was THAT BAD! But if what his wife said about him not loving the game is true, then I can see why that dunk took his heart...

Shaq put his kids in the nose bleed seats? :lol

Pistons 9 game home stand starts tommorow . 9! I have never seen that in my life. If they don't make playoffs, then idk what to tell you

Still don't look good bro. :{

If the Bulls get just a little healthy we are not gonna beat them out.

My hope was the Pacers or Hornets fall out but they way both teams are playing .... :rolleyes

Granted those 9 games at home help. But my team seems to be mental midgets right now....Home or Away...

Can't believe the Bulls and Wizards are scrapping for a playoff spot with 15 games left in the season.

Say what you want about Thibs, but dude racks up those reg season Ws no matter how injured the team is :lol

And Washington has had Wall every night & Gortat almost every night. 4 games under .500 is surprising, but at the same time the East has improved from last season where 2 teams with losing records made the playoffs.

Same Here.

When I look at the East standings I just I always think. Wow

The crazy part about the playoff race is that each team currently in the Playoff picture (both East and West) are all over .500 I don't think we have ever seen that in the past 10+ years. The East especially will have a more competitive 1st round than previous years.
