50 shots is impressive for any player but to be in your 20th season and do it....that's insane. I thought he might throw up 30-40 shots but 50 is crazy. One of the best moments I've ever seen in basketball.

hands down, kobe gave what the fans wanted to see yesterday. no ifs and buts about it.
he shot every single time. honesty, who tf wants to see randle's struggle drive game or clarkson's mid-range game or kobe passing in his final game? not me.
he was clutched af like he has been all his career. he was perfect from the field after all those shots and playing the entire second half.
he went out with a W by beating a superior team.
the only way he could have top this if he went out with a ring.

Mark Jackson's saltiness was entertaining to start. Now it's just annoying. They need to find anyone else to do Warrior games. Don't care that he coached them at all. He's probably called more than half their games since he got fired.

As a Celtics fan, I've always hated Kobe. However, I respect the hell out of his game, would never downplay his achievements and acknowledge that there hasn't been anyone like him since MJ. Simply a lethal scorer and one of the GOATs when it comes to competitiveness. Steph's rise is coming at the perfect time, because the NBA benefits from having a cold blooded shooter as it's poster champion.

Where did I mention the specific opponent. There have been much worse teams where chuckers haven't gotten up 50. The opponent is irrelevant to the point I'm making which is that it's easier said than done "oh well a lot guys can get 60 points on 50 shots"
All I'm saying is that it's rare for a reason. Iverson on those teams built completely around him allowing him to chuck never got 50 shots if I'm not mistaken
