Steph can't be stopped. You can stay in front of him...you can't give him an inch...you can't put a longer player on him. There's nothing you can do. You just have to pray that he misses.
Had dudes tellin' me if Kyrie would've played in the finals, his defense would've slowed Curry

Its okay Sac, Boogie will be back soon.

Also, Lawson to Houston is probably one of the oddest additions to any team in the offseason...he just stands there and watches Harden handle the rock. I know he had 8 and 11 assists in his previous games but he legit has no job to do as a starter :lol

Steph is great going left or right as if he is ambidextrous, but his strong hand is his right, u force him to go to his strong hand he is going to take it to the cup or make a play. Either way you lose guarding either side. U force him left he is gonna shoot a high percentage like dude said earlier.

Id just try to overplay the hell out of the 3 point line and force him to drive in traffic or make him drive and kick to his teammates and let them make a basket. Rather not let a shooter shoot, and if he does I'd live with 2 points instead of 3. The only way Curry has an off night is if his shooting rhythm is off. One player doesn't beat you so you gotta live with Curry getting his. Great offense will always beat great defense in the NBA.

Can you argue Steph is legit the best basketball player in the world or is it still Lebron? Serious..

But the theory is (And again, this is MUCH HARDER said than done) that if you force him right he's more likely to drive to make a play for himself or others. Force him right and stay home, and you could have a better chance at slowing the team as a whole down, with respect to their love affair of the three point line.

I'd still say LeBron is the best overall basketball player in the world.

But, Steph is just playing out of his mind right now.  Best offensive player by a million miles.

If I'm starting a team tho, no question I'm taking Bron over Steph, at this point.

I don't remember the finals that well, but did the cavs do a great job controlling Steph or was he just off most of that series? Because even if you can keep Steph at home and force his teammates to make plays, Iggy ***** around and wins finals mvp

I get what you are saying. I'm sure you can approach that theory to any other team with a prolific scorer or shooter, but the Warriors team is catered to steph's strength. Everybody on that team can shoot and shoot beyond the arc and can pass well. I think the team will hurt you just as much as steph by himself. The Warriors are a very well built team.

Can you argue it? Absolutely. His production alone says that he us.

But to me, what he's doing is a product of 1) Him being amazing. A Fantanstic ball handler / playmaker, along with being the best shooter of all time and 2) Being on a team that's constructed so well, and it promotes and is conducive towards the aforementioned talents that he possesses. I wouldn't say he's flat out the best player in the world. It's probably Lebron or KD.

It's crazy because last summer (2014) we all would say KD was the player who was easily the best offensive player in the world..is the gap between Steph and KD that big now? Based on the past year and this season so far it looks like it

Well that's the caveat to their team, their constructed so well that guys like Iggy or Harrison can step up and finish plays at anytime.

A lot of people say that the Cavs did a great job of controlling steph from games 1 to like 3 or something, but it was probably more so just him missing. Delly was being overtly physical with him, but aside from that nothing out of the ordinary that I saw as far as what they did differently to guard him.

It's just crazy.  It's not a knock on KD for falling off or anything...that's just how good Steph is right now.
