maybe i read him wrong but when he said wet i thought he was implying that jordan or any SG that shoots lights out from midrange would be curry-like shooting the 3.

Just Jordan...and I didnt say it'd be Curry like. But he could increase volume and efficiency if he wanted. I think I've said a couple/few times that EYE PERSONALLY think Curry's the best shooter to ever do it.

In terms of intimidating and feared players

Jordan > Kobe > LeBron > Curry

I HATE LeBron, but I stand by when I say, an enraged & motivated LeBron is more unstoppable than anything not named Michael Jordan

Game 6 of the 2013 Finals, when he lost his headband, legit made me scared because he took anything he wanted

fixed :smokin and agree

can you please explain why kobe has never been an above average 3 point shooter?
because he busts *** with his midrange to the tune of being top 3 in the NBA in scoring, yearly MVP candidate, 1st team all nba every year, 5 rings, etcetera.

and because his opponents were not shooting them at that rate during his prime.

kobe could have nights where he could match curry's peak shooting but he cant do it as consistently as curry does

i think its safe to say if anyone had the ability to do what curry is currently doing from range, they would have done what curry is doing from range

if you can pull up from 40 feet like its a layup you're not going to not do that because of the era you play in

so how good would jordan's 3 game be in terms of percentage and attempts?

that was the exact point i was trying to make lol

Well, I'd start with .427 (on 260 attempts) and .374 (on 297) attempts at the age of 32,33 respectively and extrapolate from there, adding another factor to that when he was in his prime....

Pretty moot point

That said, I agree but partially disagree. If an earlier era called for more 3s being shot, people would have worked on shooting the 3 more. For the record, don't talk like there haven't been MULTIPLE nba guys with this range. (yall forget about Hibachi? Prime Tmac?) Curry's doing it at an uber elite level, and consistently, in an era where the 3 ball has a premium.

different brand of basketball back in the day, too (duh). Curry would get his points, but it would be a little more difficult. Probably would have a broken rib and punctured lung from a Derek Harper hand check.

you take curry and put him in the 90s, son would've avg 50.

just look at the way A.I.'s ball handling changed everything. And he was killing everyone. Hell, if he was playing with curry efficiency, he would've averaged 50 himself.

Curry Rules are coming. Teams can't keep letting him style on them freely. The fouls will increase in physicality if the NBA is smart. Just can't do it beyond the three point line. Can't let him kill you outside and inside. Take the inside away and live with the threes.

ehhh... i can't say i agree. not with handchecking the way it was. all them layups he flips high off the glass would also result in shots to his body he doesn't take now. different rules.

Weren't those the years the nba shorten the 3 pt line?

truth...forgot about that

.352 (on 230 attempts) just before that and still factor prime (mid 20s) jordan and I still say he can be a very good 3 point shooter if it called for it

Game 1 of the finals was terrible, Skip came out midway thru the first quarter and sat until the start of the third qtr, while Jameer killed the flow of the team trying to get himself going. Just think with more commercials during the finals and the extended halftime, he sat over an hour of real time. Dont blame Skip for being mad about that.
Dude, this pissed me off! He definitely killed the momentum of the team. They shoulda eased Jameer in gradually, especially since Skip was producing. Plus, completely killed Skip's groove.
Skip shouldve just went at Stan with the same aggression

you cant use "he could have been if" as an argument when comparing him to someone who is actually doing it

fax >> hypotheticals

idk b im starting to like it and want to try it out myself.

if the nba shorten the 3pt line like they did for the bulls, the dubs would win easily 78 games

Curry couldn't do exactly what he's doing now under the old hand check rules, and Jordan and Magic also couldn't have done exactly what they did, under the new rules.

Some guys come along and they are perfectly built for a rule set, it's not an insult to them to say that their play style would be be hampered by different rules.

Lebron and Kobe would probabaly have been better off in the 90's.

Bird, Pete Maravich, Downtown Freddie Brown would probably be better now.
