I would but due to this whole "restraining order" misunderstanding I wasn't invited to the dinner so I'm not 100% sure where it is
SEARCHBITS XXIV: HOLDING PATTERN
http://mgoblog.com/content/searchbits-xxiv-holding-pattern

BUT A COUPLE OF MEATY TIPS.  A couple of additional circumstantial bits I've got:
 • The wife of a current 49ers assistant coach stating that Michigan fans are going to be "real happy about something as soon as the season's over."
 • John Elway, who tried to hire Harbaugh in 2011, telling some business associates that Harbaugh to Michigan is "pretty much" a done deal.
 • More player grapevine stuff indicating that Harbaugh will announce for Michigan as soon as the 49ers season is over.
I enjoy the first two bits a lot because they have nothing to do with a potential echo chamber amongst the Michigan side of things. Neither of these sources is direct or established with me, but both had specifically credible paths to the people in the know. There's been positive stuff I've heard that I appreciate but doesn't move the needle much; these two tips are substantial ones.

That's ok, we can have our own celebration. Do you think Chester will chip in for the liquor?

JsnsbsnananansmsRT chad kelly is wyldin!!!

Chad Kelly, a former local high school football star who signed a major college football scholarship offer last week, was arrested early Sunday after police say he fought with bouncers trying to evict him and a companion from a downtown bar and later scuffled with police.

Kelly, 20, of Niagara Falls, refused to leave Encore at 492 Pearl St. about 3:15 a.m. and punched a bouncer in the face, Buffalo police said. Kelly’s companion, Brandon Hickey, 21, of Clarence, had been thrown out of the bar earlier and tried to re-enter, police said.

Kelly continued to fight with two bouncers and stated “I’m going to go to my car and get my AK-47 and spray this place,” according to a report.

Buffalo police officers responding to that alleged threat stopped a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck in which Kelly was a passenger at 458 Pearl.

Kelly was forcibly removed from the vehicle, officers said. Police said Kelly kicked and tried to swing at officers as they removed him from the vehicle, and he resisted getting into a patrol vehicle and struggled with staff at central booking.

Kelly faces multiple charges including third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, second-degree menacing, resisting arrest, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Kelly and Hickey were both charged with third-degree criminal trespass.

All charges are misdemeanors or violations.

Kelly’s father, Kevin, declined to comment when reached Sunday night and referred all questions to Kelly’s attorney, Thomas J. Eoannou.

“It remains to be seen who was the aggressor and thankfully it was a scuffle where no one was hurt,” Eoannou told The Buffalo News.

Chad Kelly, nephew of Buffalo Bills great Jim Kelly, signed a scholarship offer with the University of Mississippi on Wednesday. He had previously signed with Clemson after receiving several major-college scholarship offers after a record-setting career at St. Joe’s.

Kelly’s career with the Tigers abruptly ended following a spring game incident last April. Two days after arguing with coaches on the sideline of a spring game, he was dismissed from the program by head coach Dabo Swinney.

Kelly enrolled at East Mississippi Community College for the 2014 season, and he threw for 3,905 yards and 47 touchdowns as EMCC won its third National Junior College Athletic Association title in four years on Dec. 6. Kelly was regarded as the nation’s top junior college quarterback this season.

He was a two-time All-Western New York first-team selection at quarterback, finishing his senior season with a Western New York single-season record of 3,056 passing yards.

In his junior year, he became the first quarterback in state history to throw for 2,000 yards and run for 1,000

Campbell: Florida recruits who don't pick FSU should go to Texas

If you're a highly-touted recruit from the state of Florida and you don't go to Florida State, you should go to Texas.

That's the advice to Florida prospects coming from Luther Campbell, the Miami-based rapper and Miami Hurricanes supporter turned high school football coach. Campbell was tweeting during Miami's season-ending loss to Pitt on Saturday, tweets that led to frustration about the Hurricanes' 6-6 finish under Al Golden.

That led to Campbell, known by many simply as “Uncle Luke” and being most famous for having been a member of the controversial rap group 2 Live Crew, voicing his opinion that Florida recruits should go to Texas because “Charlie Strong get some drafted in the first round”.

Strong's 2013 Louisville team produced three first round choices in the 2014 NFL Draft, including quarterback and former Miami Northwestern standout Teddy Bridgewater. Texas is current after some of the top prospects in south Florida, including U.S. Army All-Americans Tim Irvin, Devonaire Clarington and Deandre Baker as well as defensive back Davante Davis, wide receiver Gilbert Johnson and linebacker Cecil Cherry.

Thoughts on how Bryce petty, garrett Grayson or Cody fajardo will do in the league?

Sumlin is apparently trying to lure Chavis away from LSU... :lol

Just hire Durkin and move on.

Every team has a chance. Gonna have to play a perfect game to keep this one close

I predicted Bama to win the title before the season started and I still feel that way

Ohio State is in for a long night

I gotta tip my hat to losing QBs and still getting the job done not too many schools can do that

the Oregon vs FSU match up is the one I just dont know about they tend to let teams in the game and Oregon is not the team you want to toy with or spot points but at the same time Oregon has to step on defense or else this will be a TCU vs Baylor all over again

:lol @ Luke. This staff doesn't need his help to miss out on recruits. They can handle that on their own.

Oh yeah Bama is on another level and I think they win it all as well. Do I hope OSU wins? Of course. Do I think we win? Highly doubt it, but I hope it's respectable. I feel better going into this game with Urban coaching than I would Tressel in the past. OSU will score some points but I don't see how they stop Bamas offense enough

I don't see Ohio State staying with that Bama offense for 4 quarters. Yeldon and Henry back to back will eventually tire out that defense. Looking forward to what Urban Meyer has in store offensively though, OSU has some weapons

Watching this Miami Beach bowl, what are the chances of U Miami playing at Marlins stadium?
