 int st to much

I find it interesting that they went back to the O on the side of the dome. I'd be willing to wager that brand recognition and familiarity was the deciding factor. Oregon brass want people watching (likely the casual, watch the big games only kind of fan) to immediately know it's Oregon playing, something the wings on the helmets don't communicate right away to the passerby.

Color is dope tho :hat

Without saying too much about what he does (cuz the feds are watching) a friend who works at Nike told me way back in a convo about USC's unis that more than a few people in Eugene have been pressuring Nike to go back to the more traditional colors and logo for a while.

But, that's not a huge secret I imagine. He also said that people that mattered loved the attention the prototype unis, neon colors, and experimentation brought to the school and that they didn't intend to change that, so I was surprised to see the "O" come back a couple weeks ago.

I'm going to take a guess, based on zero inside info, that this is a lead up to another re-brand next year with more Puddles use.

Always liked the single O in the back, like these bad boys:

SEC to Tennessee: Do Not Schedule Baylor

A source inside the SEC informed BearsTruth a possible game between Tennessee and Baylor was nixed by the SEC. Tennessee needed to fill an opening in their schedule left by the closing of the UAB program. Baylor AD Ian McCaw and Tennessee AD Dave Hart were close to finalizing a home-and-home series between the Volunteers and Bears before the SEC stopped the series from occurring. Baylor's opening opponent for 2015, SMU, has been attempting to buy out of the game in Dallas. Baylor believed it had a worthy opponent in Tennessee before the series fell through. Baylor will continue to look for a home-and-home to boost the schedule with a tenth Power 5 opponent.

I guarantee that new uniforms are coming next season. Unis are on a three-year cycle so iexpect to see something this offseason about it.

Personally, I loved this last iteration of uniforms, but I also liked the LaMichael James era uniforms too. I really liked the volt colors introduced in the BCSNC and the LSU game. So dope. But I understand the viewpoints from both sides. The older, more traditional generation wants to retain what little tradition the program has, while the younger generation wants to continue to see Oregon push the envelope and be on the bleeding edge of style and tech.

Regardless, I'm just excited for the CFP :hat

I'm def rooting for whoever wins the FSU vs. Oregon game to win it all.

Would love to see Oregon get one, but the lulz of @Chester McFloppy being so close and falling short again is only outdone by the lulz of the media having to eat it after Jameis wins a 2nd and finishes 29-0.

I've got nothing against Chester but his painful loss meltdowns are high comedy and I can't deprive myself of another.
