Why do you have zero respect for Jeter and the way he played the game?

 

Love the yankees and their history but I have 0 respeft for Jeter and the way he played the game.

But let's change the subject. When do they announce the start times for the Division series?

I don't know how you can make that comment and than say "let's change the subject"

What about Jeter's play can you not respect?

You guys are acting like Jeter is the one making it all sbout him. He can't control the media coverage, he's just out there playing. I saw the interviews when the Yankees got eliminated and he's getting asked if he's playing in Boston, immediately he told them can you respect that we just got eliminated that's my focus now. After that reporters still asked like idiots and he had the same answer.

I definitely hear you Jumpman after the first couple weeks when I realized this tour was greater than whatever the Yanks did this season, I was over it.

I'm in the minority but the Yankees > Jeter. It pisses me off that they put that over the team success when they were in it pretty much all year. Him batting second (or even being in the lineup at all) wasn't 100% of it but it was a big reason.
