Add in an entire season of Paxton and Walker instead of Erase-mo Ramirez and Maurer starting and we may have something. I'm not gonna think about it til 2015 but eff the A's and that platoon #$^ lineup.

The A's are that older brother that got hooked on drugs. Now they live in the ****** part of the city in a ****** up house that's falling apart. And they have to share that ****** up hosue with their roommate who is even worse off. Every time they get something nice they end up going to the pawn shop to get some quick cash. Then right when you think they've kicked the drugs for good, they relapse and continue their pathetic cycle of disappointing every one who cares for them.

I think when it's all said and done that Minny, Houston, Texas, Atlanta and AZ all have new managers. He'd fit anywhere outside of AZ. I think they're in for a long time in the cellar.

dland24 you think the cardinals have the pitching to shut down both the Dodgers and Nationals and the line up to beat the pitching. I haven't seen much cardinals games but haven't they been inconsistent besides waino. I'm a dodger fan but the Nationals have been rocking and their pitching has been on fire all month especially this last week.

Also factor in experience. Nats have a lot of talent but wouldn't be surprised if they choke in the post season. Dodgers have too much hype, I'm expecting them to blow it too. Every year I say STL is finally done, they make it all the way.

I mean.....

How often does the favorite or the top couple of favorites heading into the playoffs end up winning the World Series?  Last time I can think was 6 years ago with the Yankees.  Cardinals have the Championship pedigree that the Dodgers and Nationals are severely lacking.  I realize both of those teams are favored over the Cardinals to win it all, but I wouldnt say that me thinking the Cards will win it all should warrant an accusation of being drunk.
