saw someone say Bumgarner was the best pitcher in the World Series all time, any of you old heads, particularly CP and Ska that saw Koufax pitch, would you agree or disagree?

^Its crazy to me to see all the pub that this guy is getting these days. Its as if people have been ignoring him for the last few years.
Just glanced by this:Thats not accurate. Think about what you just said.47 innings... and 6 hits?!

I always think about things like this. Like, how different would it have been if certain players had the luxury of all the modern medicine and treatments during their playing career.I'm just messing with y'all. I always rank Sandy as the greatest ever from a numbers standpoint. If dude's body didn't let him down, my gosh.
Just thinking about that, remembering the movie 61, i just realized Manziel is Mantle. Mantle is Manziel

Like, could you imagine Mickey Mantle with today's medical advancements? Granted, he would have had to buy in and take care of himself, but still.
Just interesting to think about.
I dont know about this sir. Bo, sure. But Griffey DID play during the era of modern medicine and technology. I know that medicine has had many advancements in the last decade, but I dont think that Griffey would have benefitted that much. It's not like he was playing baseball in the 70s.
The two names that pop up for me, always, when talking about "I wish today's technology could have prolonged the career of _____", it's Griffey and Bo.
And I know Griff had himself a nice little career, but I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking he could have went down as the undisputed GOAT w/ multiple rings.
And Bo... I just wanted to see him crush bombs forever and ever, climbing up walls and what not.
Whatever Kobe did in Germany, go back to like 98 and do that to Griff, then repeat every December.I dont know about this sir. Bo, sure.
