Probably because I used to live my my grandpops and he had NO IDEA how to find Clipper/Laker/Dodger/Angel/Bruin/Trojan games so I'd have to point him in the right direction. All he wanted to do was bandwagon and root for his local teams
Back in the day if I wasn't home I know he'd be stuck on that TVGuide channel that has the grid of all the channels and shows what's on during 2 hour time frames. Poor guy had a hard time seeing so if he missed a channel that went by he'd be stuck there for several minutes waiting for it to cycle back. Nobody cares what's on the upper channels, nobody cares. Just show the main networks
