I am so sick of MLB replay. I dont understand why when a manager asks for replay, that the umpires call on the field comes into play. If a manager says he thinks the umps on the field blew it, it should be 100% up to the replay official to make the safe/out or boundary call. They need to stop hiding behind the "thats how it was called on the field so its too close to overturn" bulls***.
You are telling me with slow motion and tons of camera angles, you cant make up your damn mind? IMO, once a call is deemed to go to replay, the umpires in NY should make the call based on what they see on their replay cameras. They should NOT simply be verifying the call the umpires made on the field.
This replay system is broken. And I think most of it has to do with the replay people hiding behind the umpires call on the field.
