It seems like everything started to go wrong for Ubaldo the day he got traded. Didn't the Rockies let him go out and get beat around while he was injured or some **** like that, the day before he was traded?

The same night. He threw 45 pitches in the first inning, then got pulled.
His cliff dive came long before that. The writing was on the wall.
Just glad Pomeranz and White have amounted to nothing. The Indians still lost the trade in a bad way, though.

As a long time Braves fan, I knew today would be the day the streak stopped. We probably would've won if it was a night game, but after pulling off the miracle last nite we had no shot this afternoon. Great pitchers duel between Davis and Minor. A little upset Frankie had the only RBI too >: ..
As far as BJ Upton goes, he's just getting use to the NL pitching (overall) and we already knew he would strikeout a lot, he'll find his groove but that might not happen until AS break.
For now, I'll take our 12-2 start, didn't want the Nats to run away with the division. We still have Freeman (hopefully this weekend) and McCann (even though he had setback in rehab) coming back so the NL East should be very interesting this year.

The way he's playing right now, I don't think they should keep him out of the lineup. However they want to give McCann a chance to redeem himself after an AWFUL season last year. So he'll probably platoon right/left field & catcher

That's Freeman's spot he's workin out with Gwinnett on Thursday so he should be back next week hopefully. Gattis won't see much time there as long as Freddie is healthy. He has a better chance on platooning the outfield and catcher when McCann comes back. He can also give Heyward a couple days off because we all know he's injury prone as well.

It's funny how everything is simply brushed off and forgotten. I know teams are only allowed to fine players, but somethings gotta give. Guys are catching DUI's every few weeks it seems. Helton, Cabrera, Shin Shoo Choo just to name a few
