Phils are trying to make this run right before the AS break. Cole was dealing tonight making that contract look worth it

Get that trade value up Soriano.

Seriously. My god he is on fire.

Lol, well for your sake I hope someone takes him off your hands. But no way in hell I'd want the A's to take him and the $25M+ left on his contract.

And I love Soriano. He used to be my favorite player, even when he was on the Yankees.

I imagine the Cubs would pay a huge chunk of Soriano's contract to get better prospects in return.

As nice as he and his wife were I am glad to see him go. Dude has a cannon for an arm but that is about it.

He's been a bust. He was supposed to be a phenom, but has somehow stuck around the majors for a longtime.

When you're a highly touted prospect there's always a sucker who's willing to give you a shot. Unfortunately for the Giants, that sucker is us.

Yessir :smokin Cliff on the hill tonight, I was optimistically hoping we'd take 3 outta 4 from the nats but we *could* get a sweep if it shakes out right.

I'm also not worried about Atlanta their lineup is absolutely atrocious, BJ upton is terrible. Their pitching is strong but I think we can catch them, first half of the year Cole was STRUGGLING now he seems to be back on track and if we can get vintage hamels with Cliff and Roy comes back maybe late August I like our chances...don't look now but were only 5.5 out of the wild card too

We'll see how it plays out, don't see these players getting the support from the MLBPA like some people think they will.

If anything Braun will get his reduced to 50 games, since he got off on a technicality last time, he has been busted twice though and everyone knows that.

Police: Chad Gaudin Groped A Woman On A Gurney In An ER
Deadspin.com

Giants reliever Chad Gaudin is charged with one count of open and gross lewdness, after an incident at a Las Vegas emergency room way back in January. It's a bizarre story that has some somehow been kept quiet for six months.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal broke the news today, and it is...something.

According to police, Gaudin was drunk about 4:30 a.m. when he approached a 23-year-old woman on a gurney at Desert Springs Hospital, three miles east of the Las Vegas Strip.

The woman told police she was lying on a gurney in the emergency room lobby when Gaudin appeared, told her “she was gorgeous” and touched her face and breast, she said.

A witness heard Gaudin say, “I will take care of you, don’t worry about them,” to the woman and then saw him touch her face, leg and breast, according to a police report.

Hospital security tackled Gaudin and held him down until the arrival of police, who noted in their report that he "was still yelling and using profanity" when they showed up. The most obvious question is: Why was a perfectly healthy Chad Gaudin at a hospital at 4:30 in the morning?

“I asked Gaudin several times how he ended up at the hospital and each time he told me that he didn’t know,” the officer wrote.

Gaudin and his wife—who got married at the Hard Rock Hotel in 2011—own a home in Henderson.
