It may suck for Rangers fans in the immediate future but I think Holland being injured the first half may actually help him for the long run. He logged over 200 innings last year for the first time (if memory serves me right). Maybe it'll save his arm.

Rumor has it that Holland might have injured himself playing hockey. Nothing will beat Jobs though.

Maddux was a beast

I can see that POV. Don't want another CJ Wilson scenario on their hands. Hopefully he comes back dealing.

I'd be very upset if this lead them to make a Price deal :lol unlikely but still :{

In other news, A-Rod's future should come down today.

sucks that arod's gone for the year, even worse at this point of his career :{

that maddux stat :eek

awesome that we got to see a true great that we can tell stories about to our grand kids and look at their faces when they think we're *******ttin :lol

and i got his rookie card with the mexican guy mustache :smokin

I think ARod is the biggest douche bag in all of sports...History.

Still don't like to see him suspended for an entire year. It ain't right.

Get ready for the Eduardo Nunez era at 3rd for the Yanks :hat

******g disgusting :x

Gotta say the one thing I found most shocking is what Curt Schilling said. He said that when he was playing, other players always talked about how A-Rod was juicing and in their opinion he's never been clean. I know there was that book or article or whatever by Selena Roberts that basically talked about him juicing when on the Rangers and even taking PEDs while in high school but to me its different hearing that some of his current and former colleagues were talking about him and truly disliked him.

Not really an Arod fan, but it's obvious they're making an example of the guy and it sucks for him. Sucks that other guys have gotten away pretty clean after even testing positive, and some guys making good money after suspension (melky). But it is what it is. MLB and the Yankees want nothing to do with Arod and he's just being made an example

Long story short, collectively bargained arbitrated rulings do not get overruled in court.

He's going to win in court, MLB doesn't know the can of worms this is going to open.
You're probably the first person that has said he's going to win in court. Every other report that I've read said that its gonna cost him close to $10 million in legal fees and the chances things go his way are slim to none. He should just save his money and time and forget federal court. I'm sure he doesn't want to end up in a Clemens situation and have a perjury trial.

He's apparently taking it to the Federal Court on Thursday.

That's interesting. Please elaborate

Baseball has lost every case in federal court. Their track record is bad. I'm not going to say he's going to win but I think he has a great chance.

They did a lot of shady things to get Alex. Alex might lose the battle but MLB will lose the war. MLB paid for Bosch's court and lawyer fees. Also paid over 150K in cash and never filed it which is illegal. MLB, also knew about Boscho's clinic and supplying minors with these drugs and ignored it while hunting down Alex.Tracked down ex employees and the clinic and paid cash for evidence and their testimonies. He's never had one official failed drug test which makes it seem like they're singe him out. Bud and his peers have repeatedly broke many laws to get him and Alex has like five different of the best lawyer fees in this world. I think he knows he's going down but he's going to expose MLB and make them look just as bad. There was also some shady stuff with the Arbitrator and Selig but I can't remember what that situation was.

I look forward to this case and Bud Selig going down :smokin
