Well, depending on where you are sitting and what not, the whole surrounded by drunks idea could apply to pretty much any sport and any venue. There is just something different about actually being at a football game. Everyone is hyped up. You feel like you are actually making a difference. You get to see things that the television doesnt always capture (how players act on the sidelines, why a play worked/didnt work, a receiver wide open that a quarterback missed, how plays develop.....basically get to watch parts of plays that arent captured on TV because cameras only follow the ball).in what way, because honestly, i feel like i get a better experience watching it at home. (mostly because of personal pet peeves)I know this is the MLB thread, but I wholeheartedly disagree that you get the same experience watching an NFL game at home as you do when you are actually at the game.
Unlike the NFL, you don't get the same experience watching at home as you do at the actual game.
i like being at the games because i get to watch warmups, and see little things players do, catch interactions i wouldn't see on tv.
i like being at home because I HATE being surrounded by drunks who feel like sporting events are a venue to act like uncivil human beings.
I guess its all personal preference if you like to go to games or watch on tv....but I dont agree at all that you get the same experience in person as you get when watching on TV. Not even close.
