Blue Smoke/Shake Shack motivate me to go out there. And it has so much more open space, I really enjoy just walking around and exploring everywhere. Wife really loves it too. My only problem is that I can NEVER find McFaddens

Citi Field is dope its a great place and food is dope also. Mcfaddens is in the back of the stadium outside everyone has trouble finding it lol

You can hear it straight from the mouth of a Yankee fan, Citi is MUCH better better food, better beers, better prices, shorter lines (for obvious reasons) and I've never had an issue of the ushers letting me move up around the 4th or 5th.

I went to a Yankee game Sunday and sat in a friends suite seats and it was pretty enjoyable not having to spend anything

Haven't gone often, but I love the beer center (stand) in center field.

I try not spending money at Citi since the Wilpons don't like spending money on the team in recent years. Those pulled pork sandwiches are awesome though.

We gotta change that, JRS.

On Timmy/Clayton...don't you kinda have to count the individual performances in the post season? I'm not going to say that the rings make Tim > Kershaw but outside of one start against St. Louis, you can't find a bad performance. IMO, his 08 and 09 seasons are better than any season Kershaw has had so far. But then I'd have to get into the advanced stats and then people will tell me I don't watch and I don't need the frustration

It's extremely close but I'd lean Lincecum has had the better career right now. Kershaw will definitely pass him. Although Timmy has actually had a better season than he has the last couple. That God awful defense is killing him right now (and him walking 4+ per 9).

They are very similar, yes, at this point. Yet people throw these statements out. Numbers don't lie, Kershaws 2013 was ridiculous, and it completely flew under the radar because,well that is what he is expected to do.

Compare Lincecums 2008 and 2009 to Kershaw's 2011 and 2013 and say he hasn't had a dominant year like Lincecum. Those statements are laughable.

Got to give Lincecum the nod due to the playoffs, Kershaw had a tough NLCS. Getting beat on a 2 hitter against Michael Wacha and then getting destroyed in Game 6.

More dominant? Don't think so.

I'm as big a JD fan there is, but I think it's a little early to declare that either way

It is expected that a 28 year old would be better than a guy in his first full season in the Major Leagues.  JD was in college at the age that MM is currently producing in the Major Leagues.  I think it is safe to say that at 20/21 years old, Manny Machado was exponentially better than Josh Donaldson at the same age.

Maybe JD's current skillset is higher than MM's ever will be, but who knows.  No question JD is better now, and is a complete stud.  But it is very unfair to judge them at this point in their careers.

I should have prefaced it saying that while I think they are better, that's not me saying they're blowing his 11-13 out of the water. Close, yes, but I lean to Lincecum's years.

I'll use Timmy's 09 year (IMO) that's definitely his peak year) and Kershaw's 13 season with that not being much different from 11.

Wins/Losses, we are throwing out.
Probably won't use ERA either since that's such a weak stat but Kershaw has him on that 1.83 to 2.48.
K/9 Timmy has him 10.42 to 8.85 BB/9 Kershaw has him 1.98 (which I'd say was unsustainable but he's really gotten so much better at controlling his pitches not that he was bad to begin with) to 2.72.
HR/9 Timmy has him slightly .4 to .42
WHIP Kershaw .92 to 1.05
Timmy's always suffered from an above average BABIP with the middle of the pack defenses so I'll give him that, although Kershaw's defense wasn't that much better.
WAR gives you Timmy 7.5 to 6.5 but IDK how much of a crutch that is.

Again, close. But I will take the guy who will give me the high volume K total combined with the ability to get a good amount of ground balls.
