I would agree, but Jeter was already the focal point of this game. Seeing how he is, I doubt he'd want the MVP anyway knowing Trout deserved it.

I guess you're right, but has Jeter ever had a season as good as Trout's first two? I hate that team success would determine the face of baseball, especially in a sport that's as team oriented as baseball is.
