2016 NISSAN Maxima

The full-size sedan will make its official debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show.

Following up on an all-too-brief glimpse during its 2015 Super Bowl ad, Nissan has released a pair of official images giving us a closer look at its heavily redesigned 2016 Maxima.

Looks like a Mazda.

I can see where you might see the Mazda6 with the front, kind of, but if you look at the car as a whole then there really isn't anything anything like it. The overall profile looks somewhat like a 4-door i8 especially how the read/fastback is executed with that line that cuts the roofline. The lines on the Maxima is also much, much more aggressive that the Mazda6 looks a bit bland in comparison.

^lots of design features these days are dictated by safety or efficiency regulations, so yes cars are looking more and more alike, but none of the characteristic Mazda design is present on that new Max

meh. I think I like the last-gen max better.
It does seem to not look too different from the Infiniti, I wonder if the inside is gonna be designed similarly like theyve done before also

Meh. Prev gen was better. Not feeling that body line on the quarter panel/door.

I hated the front faschia at first but the bull nosering has grown on me.
