2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

Someone said Durant wouldn't sign with GS because Nike wouldn't let him go to a team with the top UA guy :lol

which is hella dumb cuz why wouldnt nike want one of their top guya taking a chunk out of a big markket such as the bay?

and a chunk out of ua curry now that both kd and curry shoes are both 150

Klay is gonna have to the biggest sacrifice outta the big 4. He's gonna have to be strictly a catch and shoot player. Like Ray Allen was when he went to Boston.

Burning jerseys and t shirts. Fine.
Showing up and making videos on this man's property? Not fine.

Damn, that was way too much. On the dude's property? SMH, he held it down there for years, time for the man to move on.

This is AFTER the newpapers in OKC were calling him "Mr. Unreliable", but, that's none of my business, OKC

If him trying to score off the dribble is as painful for him to do as it is for us to watch then he might not even mind.

Best post yet tbh

I said it many many pages ago, this move doesn't happen if Seattle still had a team. In fact, I think FAs would've went to Seattle.
You really believe if the Seattle Supersonics make all the same moves as OKC; getting rid of Ibaka, Harden before that that KD still stays?

Or are you just talking about some hypothetical scenario where the owner is completely different and is willing to spend money every off-season?

Curry is only making 12 mil on his contract...are they realistically going to be able to give Steph the raise he deserves while keeping Klay/Draymond/KD on the books as well?
Yeah, depending on the years for each player and when their contracts are up. They're gonna go over the cap and pay that luxury tax to pay Steph close to 30 mil a year.

Me and my friends having a debate on being loyal to a team and being a player fan. What do you guys think, can you be a loyal laker fan and still rep a player on another team?
Of course.

Unless that player is on ya team's rival and is the main guy that has been killing your team's chances to flourish.

OKC messed up when they traded harden... that was the beginning to the end of that team... they had their big 4 already but decided to break it up... then got rid of reggie jackson and ibaka after that... i wouldnt blame russ if he left... the owners are cheap...

Only chance OKC has to be competitive is if they reallign the conferences. Put teams that are closer to the east actually in the east.

OKC / MEM.

Or just do what people have been begging the NBA to do for years which is to just have the best 16 teams make the playoffs regardless of region.

why not just donate the stuff to charity..

i'll never get burning or throwing away stuff

Yooooooo I feel tremendously bad for Dirk. All those pay cuts so Mavs can be competitive only for Mavs to miss out on free agents. And now HB is going to get paid more than him.

I'd be piiiiiiiiisssssseeeeeeed

In what world is that right?!?
