2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

wow. $8M. I would say thats a deal he deserves but in these times, its a great deal. Mozgov got 2 more years and 48M more.

:rollin

I've sat and thought about it and Durant should have left OKC.

That organization went cheap and that's why Harden is in Houston.

If their cheap *** owner just would have spent on Harden or hired a better coach they would be what the Warriors are now.

I chuckled when he said this.

So much growing up to do. He'll get there.

i forget this cat KD is only 27 years old, seems like he's been around forever..man im only a few years older but at his age the thought of moving far from an established home and my boys was scary as hell.

It wasn't even just Harden though.  They did it time and time again.  Reggie Jackson, Eric Bledsoe, Serge, and Harden.  They drafted incredibly well but constantly moved players when they were about to come up for a new contract or let them go in free agency.   That's the part that drives me crazy about this whole thing.

What?!?!? OKC trade Bledsoe and got The Fab Melo. Come on

Pffffff

eric bledsoe on OKC?? or are we talkin about eric maynor?

I thought someone was gonna be foolish enough to make it rain on him. Dude got only 8 mil a year ? With all the money that was being tossed around ?

Timing and the cap is going to be lower next season. Most of the big money has dried up.

Man I shout you out on twitter all the time cause of these, this is great :lol :lol

Free agent Ian Clark has reached agreement on a guaranteed one-year deal to return to the Warriors, league sources tell The Vertical.

Wanted the Rockets to take a look at him. He could've easily gotten Rivers or even Tyler Johnson money, but I understand him taking a 1 year deal to stick around with them.

Disgusted at the Ezeli signing cause that's a fairly good move for the Blazers

I wonder if dude had the chance to sign to a team and took too long and then with the announcement of the new cap, he had a lot of re-adjusted offers. If he was going for so cheap, a team like Brooklyn should've went after him if he was going for so cheap. Throw on an extra mil to sway his mind.

Festus on his contract > Prime Mozgov on his contract

not sure how in the hell festus got fleeced into 2 years for 16 million considering what his peers have been getting. i mean mosgov should be put on trial for robbing the lakers cold....

Wow.. Festus 2yr/16m
eek.gif
that's a great pickup for Portland.. he can suck *** but that's a deal for what he's shown and what them other bums in FA were getting.

They projecting next year's salary cap to be at 110M. It wont even be close to that.

It'll be at least 130M.

**** is going all the way up word to joe and remy ma

in kinda confused. How did we go from expecting 130+ to 102? What changes projections?

I honestly thought it would be the opposite way around. I thought Luke Walton was gonna splash at minimum 30 mil on Festus to sign with the Lakers and Mozgov was gonna sign at some misc team.
