2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

never seen a picture so pathetic as Durant up there. in his mind he thinks he's a badass anakin joining the dark side but to the rest of the world he looks like someone who lost a bet.

Nothing from today with KD has seemed natural or joyful lmao

Dude didn't look comfortable and only slightly happy

I truly think Durant wants to be in OKC.

I know he said he felt like a part of the family in the meeting but then he spoke about how it might be hard to mesh with this team cause he doesn't know any of the guys personally. Now there's these 'sources' saying his inner circle was pushing for him to make a change. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but he doesn't seem confident in his decision.

More power moves by Brooklyn. There's no way they're gonna be bad next season.

Might watch Nets games on YES channel for the first time in a long time. Looking forward to seeing Coach Atkinson's system in Brooklyn. Worked under D'Antoni and Budenholzer

Sarcasm detectors aren't working tonight, huh? Leemelone likes to downplay the value of the 2017 & 2018 Brooklyn picks that are owed to Boston. He's convinced Brooklyn isn't gonna stink next year.

What does their 10 man lineup look like, cuz at first thought, I just can't rock with this statement

Lin-Tyler Johnson
Crabbe-LaVert
RHJ-Bogdanovic
Booker-McCullough
Lopez-Hamilton

You gotta be a real junkie to recognize some of the names but it all depends on the young guys - RHJ showed Winslow-like flashes last year, Crabbe and Johnson need to flourish in bigger roles.

If the new contracts aren't matched, I'm cool with that lineup. Lots of young guys with potential which is impressive considering we've traded every draft pick.
