You can't lead the league in minutes, say you don't need rest cause you know your body, then complain about being tired. Especially when you would have won the east as the 8th seed

Nope

He's averaging 32 12 and 10. An actual triple double in the ******* finals. Unprecedented.

KD has been great as well, I'd give both of them grades of A+'s so far in the series.

KD is just looking better right now because he's playing with the warriors. He's playing with better guys and doesn't have to force 40 shots anymore like he did in OKC.

He's the same KD, just playing with a better unit Bruh.

The KD that played on OKC wasn't that far behind LBJ to begin with. He's more efficient. His defense has improved. He can still hurt you inside or out. Outside of passing, what is Lebron better in?

I never said KD was far behind lebron.

They're 1a and 1b, and on any given night they can be called the best player in the NBA.

With that being said, I would still take my chances with lebron over KD.

And of course KD is more efficient, playing with the warriors gives him easier shots, and he gets to take less attempts, like I said, he doesn't have to put up 30+ shots like he did in OKC for his team to win.

KD has never been that great of a defender imo, he's always gotten by with being 7ft and having crazy length.

right but Lebron has never been that great of a defender, at least on ball. He plays the passing lanes well and he's great at helping out.

All I'm saying. To totally dismiss (not saying you in particular) KD eclipsing Lebron as the best player in the league is strange.

He's being outplayed on the biggest stage regardless of his teammates.

I don't get this. So if he out plays KD and puts up 50/15/10 but still loses it's ok? As long as he out plays him right?

What do you mean regardless of his teammates. It takes a whole team to win. I don't care how great somebody is, they all need help.
They'll have your head for the last line :lol

It's wild bruh. Even Golden State realized they needed help so they went and got KD. But say Bron needs somebody else to step up and they loose they minds :lol

Man these ****** aint even lost the finals yet and they already talking about signing the second best player in the eastern conference

Yall must have short term memory but last season the idea of KD signing with the dubs didnt pick up steam until well after the finals concluded. Lot of folk were confident he'd either stay with okc or sign with Bos/SAS. it's funny how so many of you judged KD for joining gsw saying "bird, mj, and magic wouldve never teamed up!!" yet are the same ****** talkin about cleveland needs paul george

Well He wasn't putting up 30+ shots in OKC either? He spent his last 4 years in OKC shooting over 50% from the field?

And being 7ft with crazy length is why He is a really good, and underrated defender. Vastly underrated.

I might put Steph over KD /shrug. It's close. You guys are really underrating the greatest shooter of all time- look what he did last season.

I still think LeBron has the crown right now though. He's had a great playoffs even though he's losing.

Tell me what lebron does better than Durant please

Because it sure as hell ain't shooting, handling, rebounding, and defending. Durant also doesn't shy away from big moments

Handling? :lol KD don't handle the ball or as much or play make better than Lebron. He ain't a better rebounder either. KD is finally playing up to his length on defense while Lebron is slipping.

Ya'll dudes want Steph or KD to be better than Lebron so bad.

I didn't crown LBJ #1 last year.
Lebron should have according to the justifications you're using now. Why wouldn't Lebron have been number one last year if he won a championship and overcoming a 3-1 deficit? Nevermind doing so by besting the overall top team in the league? Nevermind his stats.

Please explain how that was not worthy of being called number one?

If that's the case KD could be left out of number one for this year's conversation even pending a GSW championship.

KD was responding to someone about his defense way back in 2015 and I agree with him. Individual Defense in the NBA is all about reputation and KD has been sitting down and guarding people for a minute. DEFINITELY better than LBJ at it since LBJ came back to Cleveland for sure.

What is Mobutu?

And I didn't say he wasn't worthy of #1, if you crowned Bron #1 I'm not going to throw a fit.

LBJ having a great series last year shouldn't have been why you thought Bron was #1 if you did. Conversely, this series isn't why you should have had KD as #1 in my opinion, and it isn't for me.
