Probably for the best to sit Kawhi the rest of the playoffs. This honestly feels as bad as when Derek Anderson was taken out by Juwan Howard in the 2001 playoffs. Spurs easily beat Dallas regardless, but was swept in the WCF by the Lakers.
So unfortunate that the Celts and Spurs will go out with a whimper, but a Dubs/Cavs finals is what everyone expected since July.
The real depressing thing for the Spurs has to be the realization that acquiring LMA was a complete misstep. The next two seasons until he becomes an UFA is going to feel like an eternity.

Yeah I agree with this. Seems like when we look back it will show that his all around basketball skill wasnt fully appreciated especially the last few years.
