We not going to talk about Patrick Beverly averaging 18ppg & 8apg.....shooting 63% from the field and 60% from 3 .....
Guess who's "guarding" him . You're "MVP"
Too busy sagging for rebounds.

Ok. When Wall doesn't do anything with Brooks I'll remember this.
If anybody got absolved of his shortcomings while they were together it's Beta boy. Lakersman just did it a few posts above.
If Russ can't win with his current roster. If Russ can't win with KD and Ibaka. Who are the types of players he can win with?
He was up 3-1. There's no excuse for them like there's no excuse for GS losing to Cleveland with a 3-1 lead.
It's literally like Russ can do no wrong and it's never his fault.
He stopped doing that in the 4th. Right now his style of play is hurting the guys around him and he's benefitting himself at their expense.
Every single player is flawed. You don't win games by yourself anyway, this isn't boxing.Russ was +11.
Semaj was -15.
Thunder lost by 4.
But let's talk about Russ & his flaws.
I've been saying this all season. According to NT Russ supporters he has no flaws.
Russ had KD and still couldn't get it done. He'll never play with a better player. Was it his teams fault last season or years before that? What more does a MVP caliber player need then KD who was a damn MVP himself?
It's sick to me that the casual fan will tell you that Russ plays defense because he LOOKS like he plays defense.
***** got all the tools and refuses to try on that end. It's always pissed me off about him because he CAN defend if he wants to.
That 3 that he gave up to Pat Bev in the corner was crucial. All for a damn rebound.
People said Brooks made no adjustments and played ISO ball. Is there any trace of this in Washington? No. You know why? It's because John Wall is the PG.
I ask again when has Brooks ran this ISO ball offense in Washington? He was to blame when he coached in OKC. Did Brooks change his style or is the primary ball handler different?
brooks actually did a lot of work since being fired from the thunder.. to his creditI ask again when has Brooks ran this ISO ball offense in Washington? He was to blame when he coached in OKC. Did Brooks change his style or is the primary ball handler different?
Or it could be because the team doesn't have two of the best Iso players in NBA history on the roster so he's forced to switch his gameplan. I love Wall but he's done NOTHING to prove his game in more cundusive to winning than Russell has so far. this is his best season thus far and it led to a whopping two more wins than a team who is being hel hostage by their PG

Sooo you're telling me if Russ defended Beverly better and passed the ball more in the 4th... Thunder could have won?

But what about the triple double?

Because he's chasing his own stats and not looking to put his teammates in good positions. It doesn't matter what their talent level is. That's bad basketball.
(and btw his teammates really aren't that damn bad. If anything it's Harden's team who overachieved past their expected talent level this season)
yup.. russ was KD's bulletproof vestName one person who has said any of this. People have been blaming Russ at large for OKC's shortcomings for YEARS. KD got to skate on everything until last playoffs and that 'Mr. Unreliable' thing.
He had 10 assists in the first half (which they ended with a good lead). 3 in the second. He assisted on 10+ scores, those rebounds that people call stat padding are crucial in him getting into the open floor drawing the defense and finding the open man. Dude finds the open man it stat padding he goes into attack mode and passes on hitting the open man he's selfish. its a lose lose
the fact that a dude is averaging 10+ assist per game and people are claiming he doesn't help his teammates is crazy.
But Russ went 4/18Sooo you're telling me if Russ defended Beverly better and passed the ball more in the 4th... Thunder could have won?

Maybe but his teammates did go 3-11 in the 4th wasn't like they were lighting it up.
Before January how many more wins did OKC have then Washington? OKC hasn't won at the same clip as Washington since January. Damn near half the season yet people keep talking that 2 game nonsense.
