2017 NBA Playoffs Thread - CLE @ BOS Game 5 on TNT

It's why the regular season matters bro. ****** look at the clippers end record and say that they have consistently great regular seasons but fail in the playoffs not realizing that the failures in the playoffs are due to injuries and seeding.

They won 51 games this year. The Rockets won 55 and were fully healthy. The Clippers blew an 18pt lead w/ 5 min left to SACRAMENTO. that's 52. Blew a 20 pt 4th quarter lead to Sean Kilpatrick and the nets, that's 53. They blew a 20pt 2nd half lead to the damn sixers w/o Embiid, that's 54. They blew the game two weeks ago to dallas, who were out of the playoffs, that's 55. They laid an egg in Indiana getting blown out WITHOUT paul george, that's 56 and your 3 seed.

Even WITH injuries they easily should of had the 3 seed, which is why this season was kind of dissapointing to me.

The Clipper fan in me has them winning in 6. The actual basketball side of me has them losing in 4.

And yeah man, it's beyond disheartening because injuries literally had nothing to do with that. To add more insult to injury, the Clippers (along with the spurs and warriors) were the only teams out in the west playoff field that were above .500 against teams that were above .500.

But they had the most losses (13) to teams below .500 out of any western conference playoff team. The Nuggets didn't make the playoffs and had the same amount of losses to under .500 as we did.

I got bucks upsetting raptors. Even though I haven't watched either team recently I'm banking on derozan to get into his playoff form and brick everything

Counting the injuries to every team in the western conference playoff field, the rockets were for sure the most healthiest team in the league this year. I read it yesterday I think
